Anybody else get a Survey yesterday from EA regarding MEA? With questions about Character Creation? and one that asked "If you could fix one thing about Andromeda, which would you choose? With a list of 5 responses, one of which was 'Fix the bugs." Yep I took the survey. Most likely they were looking for 'positive' feedback ones they could use in marketing, it's EA after all they could care less what you think as long as you keep giving them your money. They won't be using mine  EDIT ADDED: Maybe they only sent it out to people who are registered on their Answers/Bug board. I have posted there a couple of times. |

I had like 8 or 9 checked. Then they asked if you could only fix one which one would it be? I thought they were all ones I had selected previously but may be not. In any case I remember a couple of them not all. UI, facial animations, Bugs and a few others. I selected bugs. |

Last week they sent me one asking just one thing, how would I rate MEA from 1 to 10. That's it. So I gave them the number. I hope I get this more in depth survey. I am not on EA boards either.

There was also a question asking which ME races you liked, and it included races that weren't on the arks. The whole survey took about 20 minutes. |

I think I would've liked to participate in that survey. It's a shame it wasn't sent to more people playing MEA who have the appropriate "communication parameters" chosen in their privacy settings. I think it's a good sign that they're gathering data. This shows that they're serious about ongoing, perhaps significant, support for the game.

I do think it's a good sign that they're actively listening to fans. Although considering actively listening to fans made them focus on exploration in Andromeda, at the expense of other game components, maybe that's not a good thing....  |

I'm worried that "fix the bugs" was an option on that list to begin with. They should be fixing them regardless. Looks like theyre assessing our opinions without BioWare picking and choosing which opinions are valid. Which is good because if Bio twitter accounts are anything to go by they are only paying attention to the positives. EA are looking for something, lets hope its not an excuse to kill the franchise. Edit: There is also a conspiracy styled theory where people yell. "Its because we're/They're/It's bioware isn't it!" At every complaint, like a college student complaining everything is sexist/fascist just because because they disagree with it. This might give them clarity. |

EA decided when it was going to be released and MEA has problems, which was probably why another one of the questions on the survey was "did you read any reviews before buying this game?" I don't read reviews until after I've played the game through. That, coupled with the fact that another patch is schedule for 'the middle of May' tells you there are some basic problems. Their competition is Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 and they're still fixing things like character motion, skin tone and eye movement... Do you know what I mean? |

Are those surveys only for US customers or something? Because this is not the first time I see survey being discussed, yet I have never received one. Considering how selective BW is in terms of whom to represent in their games, it will not surprise me if they sending surveys only to specific demographics to make results look better in front of EA execs.
