I'm personally okay. I prefer the Asari sword over the omniblade but this isn't the type of game where we're getting a lot of close-up hand-to-hand combat. No real reason to have a variety of melee weapons.

I'd kind of like to see some of these weapons in sheaths/scabbards strapped to my character somewhere. I have an electric Firaan equipped, and it would be neat to see it in a little sheath mounted on my chestpiece or belt or leg or something.

An omni shield would definitely make sense! I guess tech armor is kind of the full-body equivalent of that, in the ME universe, but still, a summonable shield would be neat.

I love the sword too, though I wish that its animation was just a tad more elaborate. One thing I can't recall however is if it has a death from above animation like the omniblade/tool does when you melee out of a jump. I'm guessing no, but it would've been cool if it did.
