I do not know about you guys, but I felt this entire place reminded me more of Mass Effect than any other zone in the entire game...even the planetoid/moon or whatever it was. Havarl felt more cohesive than any other map. It felt like ME1+Me2 combined with a more open area.
If I had 2x more maps from MEA that were like Havarl and Eos being the only really huge map packed with stuff(its the first outpost after all) and then added way more stuff to explore/do on the Galaxy map then I think MEA would have been much better.
What do you guys think?

Havarl was my least liked map. It is too small and crowded for my liking. Kadara is probably my favorite map out of all of them.

Havarl was a high point in the game. Not only was it gorgeous but it still felt dangerous/hostile without being barren. And whether by accident or design, I liked that most of the beasts were quite well camouflaged in all the foliage. I could see them on the radar but had no visual on them until they're just meters away.
The game needs more hostile forests. A death world like 40k's Catachan.

I didn't like Havarl, it's my least favourite because you can't see a thing. The thing closest to the ME feeling for me were the loyalty and ark missions, Voeld and H-047c.

I think the only world that reminded me a bit of havarl was Zaaeed's loyalty mission which was a bit of a jungle world, but for the most part there were no worlds like that previously, not that I am aware of in the previous trilogy.
