I upgraded because of promises for future content, not because what it offers right now.
Now, the Pyjak can be collected but as far as outfits or armor goes, I'm still stuck with the regular items. Anyone knows how to find them?

Should be at Tempest, in your cabin. Near SAM and e-mail terminal, special deliveries.

Right, but keep in mind you cannot craft that armor so if you happen to dispose of it you are out of luck until NG+, but you can craft higher ranks of the weapons.

The deluxe edition guns don't upgrade past tier 5 and the scavenger armour set don't upgrade at all and gets obsolete fast. There are a million paint jobs better than the special one too. Enjoy!
(p.s. sorry, didn't mean to make you feel bad about your purchase, but it IS a rip off and hopefully other prospective buyers benefit from my post)

(p.s. sorry, didn't mean to make you feel bad about your purchase, but it IS a rip off and hopefully other prospective buyers benefit from my post) It is objectively a rip-off, but completionist fans may want the stuff despite the additional cost. In my view it's not quite as bad as 'Spoils of the Avvar' but it is in that league. I have the deluxe stuff, I recognise it as poor value, but there it is...

Oh, yeah, I should have mentioned I have it too ;-) I'm hopeful that they will fix the gun upgrades through a patch, because I actually like the sniper and the assault rifle...

I wouldn't call it a rip-off, necessarily. Not a great value, perhaps. The Pathfinder AR is a great early game weapon until you gain resources and research points to get better stuff, and the armor has some good experience gain bonuses that make early leveling a bit faster. It's not very useful after the first 10-15 levels or so, but it has its good points. I just wish the X5 Ghost was in the game as the Deluxe weapon, upgradeable to lvl 10 with the ability to deconstruct it and get your Augments back.

I just bought the upgrade option myself (I also did it cause of promises of future content). I'm hoping in a future patch, they
give you the option to upgrade the scavenger armor set in tiers and also let you upgrade the elite weapons set passed tier 5.

I myself knew to get the items from the terminal in the cabin, however my problem seems to be i wasnt given the schematics for the weapons. None of them are showing up in the Research and Development menu.

I wish I knew that little quirk about the Pathfinder AR beforehand. I was pretty annoyed when I went to deconstruct only to find that it would take the augments with them. It made me wish that I could "invest" a weapon into my multiplayer portion of the game and just have one of my characters there use it. I'd craft all kinds of stuff for MP.

None of them are showing up in the Research and Development menu. All of the Pathfinder items are auto-upgraded, no need to research them. If they're not showing up on the crafting side, then something bugged out for you. Which would be weird, and the only time I've heard about that issue...

Tried restarting the game, still no sign of the new weapons in the Crafting menu. Theyre nowhere to be found in R&D so now im a bit afraid to deconstruct the lvl 1 items i received.

I recall that I had to really scroll all the way down the page for the Pathfinder weapon schematics. They were not grouped with the other weapons in terms of rank so they were buried further down. Found out the hard way they only went up to rank 5.
