So in the very first vault on Eos, there's two doors in the same room with these glyphs hovering right in front of the doors. It's the area immediately before Peebee yells at you from across the gap where she says, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." Anyway, these glyphs are white if you're far enough away from them, but turn red as soon as you step near the door. When I try to open them, Ryder just says, "Down here, some things work and some don't." It's just weird because I've thoroughly explored every vault in the game, and these two doors are the only ones that have these symbols hovering over the actual door. Is there something behind these doors, or is it just a random one-off that does nothing? Hopefully this link works to post the screenshot I took... Edit: It seems I can't post an image, so I'm hoping some know the area I'm referring to lol.

I know what you mean and I think it's just added stuff. We never get to see what's in them (might be the inner area when we run away too), same with the area PeeBee is in. There is a vault later in the game where those symbols appear and you need to follow a pattern.

I think they might be part of the way out.

I think they might be part of the way out. This, although I'm not 100% sure.

Doesn't SAM coment that the squad is possibly being led? He offers two possibilities. One is that the current vault setup is designed to lead visitors to the heart of the vault. The other is that it is intended to mislead and misdirect visitors. Ryder grumbles at the latter possibility.
I don't think this door is part of the exit, but I could be wrong. I believe that we sprint past this section, running to the gravity well that was initially barricaded. From there we rise back to the upper-level, and then sprint to the exit. (Hopefully, you grab all of the goodies before leaving.)
