Hai Guyz,
I am on my second playthrough. I don't remember if I did Jaal's loyalty quest in my first one or not. Anyway, I just got to Aya, and some random Angaran handed Jaal a rifle, and said something about cowardice, and courage with the heart and cunning, or something. Is there any content in the game that elaborates on this brief interaction?

I don't think so. I believe it's just a scene designed to show us that Jaal is a respected, experienced Resistance member. He offers support and encouragement to the younger guy, showing us how wise and swell he is. (It's also used to show us Jaal's "best in the Resistance", customized kett rifle.)
I didn't catch the younger angara's name, if it's given. I don't recognize his face as matching any particular NOC who later appears. I like how he can't help but stare at Ryder as they pass one another.

This got a chuckle out of me. Although that would be funny, depending on what he was masturbating to.

just a better introduction than Jaal sitting behind his desk masturbating when we first meet him Interesting picture. Certainly in the category of things that can't be made unseen once you were introduced to the possibility.

That angara is an absolute nobody. I know this because he has random appearance, as I've seen when game froze after that cutscene and I had to re-watch it. He had same model, obviously, but different skin colour.

He's the "kid" Ryder says looked up to Jaal and I think he's the one in Evfra's office chatting at his desk when you visit later.

They did just as poor a job with the Angarans as they did with the Asari. Apart from a few relevant characters, they all look the same. To tell the truth, I wouldn't even be able to pick Evra out of a crowd.

They did just as poor a job with the Angarans as they did with the Asari. Apart from a few relevant characters, they all look the same. To tell the truth, I wouldn't even be able to pick Evra out of a crowd. Evfra has pretty distinctive facial markings. I thought the angara were fairly well done. They come in a wide variety of colors, and featured colony-based variety in their accents. You could actually determine from whence each came by their accent, it you paid attention to Jaal's answer regarding this. The lack of variety is nowhere near as noticeable as OT turians. They were all identical, and featured one of three voices, with very few exceptions. The asari of MEA are horrible because Lexi has a distinctive, human face. Then, they replicated that very distinctive face across every single asari. It was a terrible design choice. Asari should be as easy to give variety as humans. They're essentially humans with a different scalp. The humans are actually repeated frequently, but they're no clone army, at least. I have to ask: What's up with half the community suddenly having the same "N7" profile pic? There must be a reason.

Would have never thought it was him as I thought it was an actual kid, maybe via emails or something since there were no children models.
