Hello, After have spent many time in Multiplayer I currently catching up with my Single Player campaign and I now that I'm at higher levels I'm looking into crafting better equipment (I'm playing on Insanity). What do you think about the Angaran Armor blueprints? Currently I'm playing mostly two profiles (one day I'll share them here to hear your feedback): one is a Sentinel and the other Vanguard. The Angaran Armor should prove useful to my Sentinel play style. Right now I'm wearing the Remnant one. So what would you suggest: keeping the Remnant or going with the Angaran? The bonuses to Tech Damage are very tempting and I already recover shields quite fast (Energy Drain, Shield Oscillator in the chest armor) and so I was thinking if the increased shields of the Angaran Armor is preferable to the damage resistance of the Remnant ones? Thank you for your assistance P.S.: I was looking for a "general purpose" armor for both my current play styles but I do realize they are two different to benefit from a common armor set

They're ok, but I think Ryder needs more blueprints. In ME3, with some modding, I got a choice of 25+ different armors. I don't expect same numbers here, but it will be nice to get another 2-3 new blueprints with incoming patch or DLC.

I mean, it wouldn't make sense to not include them in future content As for me I'm currently missing a "general purpose" armor. With the various profiles we can change our play style in no time but most of the armors seem to be "specific" to a given play style (Tech powers, Biotics etc): we need a sort of general purpose armor

I wish we had the ability to mix & match an armours base stats & its looks via crafting.
I want to wear N7, but I don't use Biotics, so im gimping myself if I do so.
Its annoying.

She just looked bad, we need something more skinny, girlie-style - "less armored". Good example is FemShep from ME3, she looked stunning in some sets.

Exactly Crafting in Dragon Age: Inquisition had more versatility. Sure, augmentations can add different bonuses but the armors have a set of predetermined bonuses we can't alter. I really miss it.

I hate V+ Angara tech set on femRyder. I-IV looks decent, but the upgrade is meh, legs being the worst of it. I had to keep the IV legs because of that.
Crafting makes no sense with such a limited choice, basically my femShep in ME3 had more customization options and combinations with no crafting at all (and she looked better too)

I was just trying to see if the stats were good enough to justify its use hehe Btw I agree about the limit choices with crafting: we need more options and the chance to choose our own stat bonuses

The Heleus defender/icon set is a good generalist armor: power (any power, not just tech or bio) & weapon damage and damage resistance. The only downsides are you can't put specific augs on arms and legs and (purely subjective and esthetic) it looks wonky on a male character.
If you are struggling to find remnant cores for crafting the set, just put one cryo pod point into Reconnaissance (under Military), go to Eos and loot the stashes; ought to have you covered for the whole game.

Angaran armour is good, since there are a precious few sources of +tech damage and +tech duration bonuses. But you can't see your character's face in it, which is a big downside to me. Because of this, I used Heleus Defender set.

I loved the tech stats on the Angaran armor (agreed that the look from tier V+ was funky looking, but...meh *shrug* ). For my sentinel I mixed with N7/Angaran. Yup she looked funky but, coloring it - and adding a pattern - helped immensely. Stat wise though, it worked well for my go-to powers.

I've been using Maverick chest with Pathfinder arms/legs/helmet.
Chest gives +weapon damage, spare ammo and headshot/weakpoint bonus damage. Pathfinder gives +weapon accuracy and damage resistance.
Stack the augs you want (combo damage, tech/combat/biotic damage or recharge, etc) that you want, and you've got a pretty decent "generalist" armor set. Chest bonuses help out any build, 'cause you'll pretty much use your weapons a lot between powers, weapon accuracy and DR are "nice to haves" but not build specific, etc.
Obviously, if you want to min/max, this ain't the way to go, but it's still a darned good generalist armor set, and I was doing quite well on Insanity with it. It's also got the benefit of not being too bulky, and looks pretty darned good on a F!Ryder.

I quite like the aesthetics of the Angaran armour, and the squadmates.. but it would be nice if they changed into casual gear when Ryder does but maybe that's asking too much

The Angaran armour is pretty much Engineer specific. I would get Heleus (power damage) or Remnant armor (power recharge) for general all around power usage types.
