You buy digital or physical copy of Andromeda?

I bought the (standard) physical copy simply because I love the game cover

Digital. I already have way too much stuff wasting space in my room. Plus it was the only way to get the Deluxe edition.

Right up until your internet is down for whatever reason.

Like I said, I'm not hating on anyone's opinion, but trading physical copies towards new purchases has literally saved me thousands of dollars over the years.  I didn't even pay for my PS4.  I bought it with PS3 trades and Gamestop power-up rewards.

But, enjoy your saved space and all =)

I have never traded in a game. If I buy something, I intend to keep it.

Physical copy. I prefer to have a hard copy back up. I don't trust cloud storage or whatever place I bought it from to remember I bought it. This is why I still buy music CD's too, even though I listen to everything on my iPod.

Wow, that situation sounds like one could make a legal case out of it though.
It also seems odd. For example, the game Cryostasis was available on GoG.com for a while a few years back and I bought it there. Then they lost the license to sell it and these days, you can no longer buy it there. However, since I have already bought it, it's still in my library and I can still download and play it. I am not a legal expert (far from it) but just in terms of common sense (which admittedly doesn't necessarily have much to do with the law ) IMO, this should be the norm for digital content when licenses change.


As for ME:A, I bought the digital copy. IMO, these days it doesn't make much difference for games anyway (at least on PC) since you need to register with Origin/Steam/Uplay/whatever anyway, so they have control over your ability to play one way or the other and seeing how I move every couple of years (and often move to another country or continent) and how I live in very small apartment, I am actually quite happy to have as little clutter as possible around. So I kinda embraced the digital purchasing age by now. I still bought the physical collector's Editions of ME2/3 (none for ME1 on PC unfortunately) but Andromeda wasn't worth that anymore.

By the way, did anyone here buy that insane Nomad "edition" for $200 that was actually just a merchandising sale as it didn't even include the game?
