I always buy physical and my preference didn't change for MEA. I like having the games in my hand/on my shelf and stare at the collection with semi-pride. It's also somewhat cheaper and activating the code on Origin gives me exactly the same thing as digital standard edition, but i also get a disc in a box. Unfortunately, for the life of me I COULD NOT find a physical version of this game in the first week of release. It was nowhere, no store had it and I didn't want to wait another week so... I got the digital version. *sadface*

Also you are at the mercy of multi-national corporations who if their CEOs get into a pissing contest the customers will be the ones who get screwed. I buy digital movie and TV shows but when I get a chance I will always get and generally prefer a DVD and/or Blu-Ray over a digital release, because I have more Blu-Ray/DVD players than streaming devices. Also if I want to watch a show that I bought the MS store I can only watch it on MS approved devices, buy it on Blu-Ray and/or DVD I can play on any Blu-Ray/DVD player I currently have. Honestly, that sounds like too much space being taken up when I could use it for something else. Besides, a lot of people my generation don't even use DvDs/blu-rays anymore since streaming things is 10 times easier. I've bought Impact Wrestling TV shows off the MS store that through no fault of Microsoft or myself I no longer have access too because the show changed networks and the former network doesn't want to have a show that it no longer supports on it's servers (which I understand), but I'm still out $20-$40 that I legally spent on those episodes and I have no way to get those episodes back. On DVD and Blu-Ray that doesn't apply. So yeah I buy digital media but I will always prefer a physical copy because I own it and can watch on any player I have. I have an original Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PC, and my dad's DVD player so I'm not hurting for hardware either way. I estimate (and that is a conservative estimate) I have over 5,000 DVDs throw in my dad's collection it's closer 7,000 DVDs. I have close to or over 100 Blu-Rays it's more about organization and you would be amazed how many DVDs and Blu-Rays you can fit into 2 bookcases and a 6 foot tall cabinet. We also take great care of our discs. When I have sold discs I have actually had store owners thank me on the good condition of my discs.

I bought the digital pc standard edition, which I then upgraded to the deluxe edition when that option was offered. I would of also bought a physical Xbox One deluxe edition for the wife, but
due to us having a kid, my little one could of easily damage the disc, so I have no plans of buying any physical copies of video games, at least not for a few more years till she's older that is.

Digital. I already have way too much stuff wasting space in my room. Plus it was the only way to get the Deluxe edition.

I bought it with PS3 trades and Gamestop power-up rewards. But, enjoy your saved space and all =)

Since Steam started I've bought every game digital. I think I even bought ME1 on Steam before origin pulled their games.
I think it's only consoles that have kept physical discs alive and even that is going away fast.

Physical copy. I prefer to have a hard copy back up. I don't trust cloud storage or whatever place I bought it from to remember I bought it. This is why I still buy music CD's too, even though I listen to everything on my iPod.

Wow, that situation sounds like one could make a legal case out of it though. It also seems odd. For example, the game Cryostasis was available on GoG.com for a while a few years back and I bought it there. Then they lost the license to sell it and these days, you can no longer buy it there. However, since I have already bought it, it's still in my library and I can still download and play it. I am not a legal expert (far from it) but just in terms of common sense (which admittedly doesn't necessarily have much to do with the law ) IMO, this should be the norm for digital content when licenses change. As for ME:A, I bought the digital copy. IMO, these days it doesn't make much difference for games anyway (at least on PC) since you need to register with Origin/Steam/Uplay/whatever anyway, so they have control over your ability to play one way or the other and seeing how I move every couple of years (and often move to another country or continent) and how I live in very small apartment, I am actually quite happy to have as little clutter as possible around. So I kinda embraced the digital purchasing age by now. I still bought the physical collector's Editions of ME2/3 (none for ME1 on PC unfortunately) but Andromeda wasn't worth that anymore. By the way, did anyone here buy that insane Nomad "edition" for $200 that was actually just a merchandising sale as it didn't even include the game?

I have never traded in a game. If I buy something, I intend to keep it. Little over 5 years ago I had to sell about 98% of my video game collection because I was out of food and I had no money I sold my NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Genesis, Sega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, collections and most of my PS1 collection, a few Xbox 360 and PS3 games and most of my guide books and some DVDs made about $1,400 out of the deal. I wasn't hungry after that for a while.

I mostly buy digital but I choose physical for MEA. Mostly because the price is so similar that I don't think its worth dumping $SGD70 ($USD 50) on digital copy when I could get the physical for $USD54. No regrets when downloading the game under a couple hours from six discs... rather than waiting a whole night with 1MB/s internet.
Besides you still get the digital copy on Origin anyway. I could pay additional $12.90 for deluxe but i rather wait for DLCs

If you buy a lot of games, makes no sense to buy digital, but if you only buy a few a year...probably doesn't make a lot of sense to try and get the trade benefit.
