So, is this normal? In my game, somehow, even when simply standing around or walking about on the Tempest or Nexus, Sara Ryder's breathing is nearly as loud as when she's speaking (when running, her breathing is as loud as her speaking and when on planets with environmental hazards, it's at least double the loudness!)... And it really, really grates on my nerves and stresses me to the point that I feel like I'm going to hyperventilate for her. Her constant huffing and puffing is so loud, distressing, and stressful, that I often have to mute the sound just to get some peace. But, by muting the game, I can miss out on so much!
Is her breathing supposed to be so very loud? Is it at all possible to lower the volume of or turn off the breathing sound completely? Does anyone know how to fix this to make it more bearable?
Please any suggestions would be so much appreciated! Thank you.

It adds to replayability Op.
Now I can play the game as an asthmatic or someone with lung cancer.
And in extreme environments with lung cancer you can expect someone to huff and puff a little bit.
I think its what I like about Ryder over Shepard.
She breathes deeply to let you know she's still there in this wonderful world that BioWare have created for us over such a short period.
Man this game is awesome.

Yeah the audio is all over the place in this game, there are also many instances where my squaddies talk during cutscenes or encounters and I can barely hear them...even on the tempest.

I haven't run into that bug. Only time I noticed the breathing is when life support was getting on the low side.

The loudness of Sara Ryder's breathing was already pretty noticeable when I first started my game. I made changes to the audio settings, adjusted the volume here and there, yet nothing seemed to work.
I tried to ignore it and just imagined that, perhaps, she's allergic to Andromeda or something. After a while though, particularly in hazardous environments, it just got too ridiculously loud to ignore (louder than Darth Vader)!... Too bad Lexi can't just give Ryder a shot to fix her labored breathing.
So I suppose Sara Ryder's breathing is not so very noticeable for most people then (as it should be)? And that this is some kind of bug in my game?

I think her breathing is part of sound effects, like the footsteps. I also found I could hear the music louder when I had the sound effects settings up.

The only time I ever hear her breathing is when she's either very low on life support or has been running for awhile.
