Michael Gamble @gamblemike Another great thing I now notice in Anthem: I’ll be playing through a mission, and there’s now an amazing music score which punctuates the adventure and combat. Really love it.
Scylla Costa @scyllacosta We were just reviewing an activity this afternoon and it felt EPIC! Kudos to Jeremie and his crew.

The world of Anthem™ is big, dangerous, and full of Freelancers ready to take on anything its most vicious inhabitants have to throw at them. But through all the battles, there’s one thing that shouldn’t be lost: you, and your individual story. The Anthem team is ready to tell you just how these different stories will work together at their PAX West 2018 panel.
Introducing Our World, My Story.
“In the dynamic [and co-op focused] open world, everything is experienced in real-time by all Anthem players – day/night, weather, and world-scale events that shape the ongoing narrative of the setting. This is ‘our world,’ which we share as a player community,” BioWare General Manager Casey Hudson wrote in a recent studio update. “Then when you return to Fort Tarsis, that’s actually a single-player experience, and it’s where you spend time developing relationships, making choices, and seeing consequences. That’s the ‘my story’ part.” But that’s just the beginning, and the people creating this vast world are ready to pull back the curtain and answer your questions at PAX West 2018: “Even with that description, I know there are many more questions about how it will work. To really go deep on this subject, we’ll be doing a panel at PAX where we’ll talk about ‘our world, my story’ and other big questions you’ve had about Anthem.” The following panelists will be there to give you all the details:
Host: Nick Tarabay Mark Darrah, Executive Producer Mike Gamble, Lead Producer Sabine Rosgren, Level Designer Cathleen Rootsaert, Lead Writer Victor Krengel, Creative Director
Check out the panel on Saturday, September 1 at 1:30 p.m. PT. You can watch live from home on the PAX West Twitch channel, or head to the Main Theatre at Benaroya Hall to get in on the action in person (PAX West badge required). Can't make it to the panel? Ask Mark (or Mike!) Almost Anything About Anthem! Tweet with the hashtag #AMAAAA and join @biomarkdarrah and @gamblemike on Twitter September 1 to see if your question is answered.

Epic JDUB @epicjdub @biomarkdarrah as far as customization of the javelins, will we only see skins or can i breakout the paintbrush and really make it mine like i would in a texture editor #AMAAAA
Mark Darrah @biomarkdarrah You will not be able to freepaint. You can apply different colors and materials to different areas as well as wraps. More on this later
Ben Slevan @benslevan Probably a good decision; If this was a thing, I could almost guarantee running into someone with an elaborately drawn penis painted down their entire javelin

One thing I would like to say, and I'd hate to keep interrupting your [Hrungr] posts, but thanks for taking the time to update us on what the devs are up to. I actually go here now for up-to-date information. Used to go on reddit (primarily because of dev commentary) but things are pretty slow over there right now.

Because /r/AnthemTheGame is spoonfed and handheld, leasing to laziness and entitlement, whereas with our scruffy little band, we build up muscle from all the fact finding and debunking.
Or at least our resident alligator does.

Inquisitor: Is that innuendo? Sera: No, it's at the front!
I just wish they keep the dialog/emotion wheel in the future DA. Binary choices are too few for RPG.
I think it depends on how they're done. If there are multiple binary choices spread across a single conversation/quest then it's only really binary in terms of a single choice, but can effectively accumulate to being something more. That depends how things are done in Anthem though and it's hard to say how it works before we see it.

Yep, I'd rather have 2 real choices than 4 different wordings of a line that changes nothing.

According to historical Bio corp speak, the dialogue wheel with multiple choices were designed to support their "deep characters".... remember?
If the future DA4 game comes out with just binary choices, real or otherwise, the word count for these main NPCs cannot compare to the classical DA or ME games... Somehow, developing these NPCs with such a system will result in superficial characters. I bet "great story telling" and "deep characters" won't be in Bio's vocabulary when they will market that game.

Sorry, but at this point, this is a complete and utterly unsubstantiated conjecture.

Agreed, Anthem is going to hurt Days Gone sales big time.
Days Gone?
Sorry, but whatever that is isn't getting in the way of Anthem...
