The awesome pentapod is reporting that she’s seeing the storm cloak “is lovely and flowy as expected” in a recent fix she’s observed. What you saw in the live stream is a bug.

And while I have you: THERE WILL BE BUGS IN LIVE STREAMS. We are being transparent with you in live streams and showing you early (sometimes older builds) unfinished content that usually gets polished out in a marketing trailer. We just want you to see stuff earlier!

Then put an "ALPHA GAMEPLAY BUILD - NOT OPTIMIZED" banner across the stream, so I don't have to see Yong Yea carping about Anthem's graphics being EA-criminally substandard compared to TW3/CP77. Yes, by all means, be transparent with people who actually want to play the game, but don't make it easier for the trolls to rake their muck.

Yeah after I saw this I thought for sure there would be a YongYea video. Or a Legacykilla. Or one of the other endless troll YouTube pages would jump on it. Perhaps an Ian Miles Cheong tweet complaining about BioWare? I do recall he moaned about how the fraternal Ryder twins could look different from one another, and took every opportunity to create something out of nothing to whine about.

The comments section for these people...yikes. I've said before that much of the Andromeda hate from these YouTube pages and twitter trolls was started long before the game was released. I know because I follow all of these pages and twitter folks despite despising them. I saw it coming with Andromeda, and I see it with Anthem.

First of all: Doing a test run before putting it out to go 100% sure that it's the quality they want to show. 2nd: Hire some good presenter for bigger events. Or script the presentation. Or can it then show it.

Are you asking how one puts a banner on a live stream? Or how one doesn't make it easier for trolls to rake muck, rhetorically? If the latter, it's a fair point. Evidence, facts, and straight-forward statements of intention can only provide so much protection, these days. Now, it's all about the kayfabe.
