Michael Gamble @gamblemike Important thing for console: when you use your pre order code, make sure the email account you use it for is the one you play games with (this will make sure the account is the one associated with Xbox live or PSN).
The most surefire way to ensure this is to use the same email you’ve signed in on other EA accounts. If you haven’t done that, log in with a browser with that email and poke around the settings.
If you ordered via ea, you’re already set I think. If you ordered through somewhere else the first thing is to check the receipt for the code. If not, contact them quick. Ill pre order today on the consoles to test it out.
RoBBins @robbins0096 If you preordered digitally you’re automatically registered for the demo and just need to download the client when available. Only codes you’d get would be for EA Access friend codes. Hope this helped!
Michael Gamble @gamblemike And finally, since you are all pretty cool, help each other out like the tweet [above]. No freelancers eaten by Ursix, no Interceptors crushed by Titans.
I preordered the game for PC. Bought the code from Best Buy, because Origin can't seem to compute sales tax properly.
About 10 days or so after purchase, got the demo code from Best Buy, followed the directions, confirmed the code was attached to my Origin/EA account. No icon in Origin yet, I assume (you know what that means) that the icon will appear in Origin when closer to being able to download the game for the demo.
Ya know what would be nice? If the demo was the game, just gated … and once the game was released, could play the game (after the day one patch, of course) without downloading another game.
Cody @cafras1 Hey folks, friendly reminder. Game devs don’t have rivalries many think we do. We cheer for each other and support each other. Just because two companies are no longer partnered, doesn’t mean those friendships or respect is broken. Be kind to each other.
Michael Gamble @gamblemike This is incredibly true. We want others to succeed and are bummed if things don’t go well for them. Most of us are gamers first, developers second.
Sam @cornishguv Does that mean that once Anthem is officially released in Feb, you and your staff can have a few weeks off to return to gaming before having to start work on new content for Anthem?
Michael Gamble @gamblemike Once anthem is complete and out in the world I’ll be taking some time off and then I’ll be producing something else

James Berg @jamesbergcanada I've spent the last few years working on Anthem, which will compete directly with Destiny. Many (most?) veteran Anthem devs have a friend or twelve working on Destiny, heh.

This is likely true in a lot of industries. It definitely is in mine, where people go from company to company, and pretty soon I have a long list of old email addresses for several of my contacts.
Mark Darrah @biomarkdarrah I’m up to my eyeballs with triage. Follow @gamblemike @benirvo and @bio_Warner if you want more attentiveness

Michael Gamble @gamblemike We won’t be outlining all of the content in the demo ahead of time. Some things are best left a surprise. Likewise. We have many publications and folks checking out the main game and doing capture this month. We are only allowing certain missions.
Blairdog @l3lairdog Thank you for actually allowing the players to feel the surprise and wonder of the game, absolutely hated when Bungie showed the beginning of the game, like as though the intro to the game didn’t matter. We all know the best intros come from you guys (ME2 was mind blowing).
Michael Gamble @gamblemike I am opposed to showing the intro. I feel that is an emotional experience between the player and the game
Mass Effect Trilogy, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, Jade Empire, Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem, Mass Effect Legendary Edition

Especially when you consider that Mike Laidlaw is now working for Ubisoft (probably on another AC game)
Evan Bell @evan_prime In, through, and out the other side! Excited! People will be playing @anthemgame, starting with the demos, in like...10 days! The best part of #gamedev is finishing/shipping something and I'm happy to be so close to that part of Anthem's development.

Does anyone know if ANSEL will be available in ANTHEM for those who play on PC and have Nvidia GPUs?
Looks like Ansel support is in BFV, so chances are good it will work with Anthem at some point.
Thanks for your reply, Charlie. Would be cool to see ANSEL in ANTHEM....I created a lot of cool screenshots/desktop wallpapers by using it in ME: Andromeda, and I can just imagine some of the cool looking shots we could make with in if it were in ANTHEM....so *fingers and toes crossed*
Thanks again for your reply.

I'm confused. The demo at the end of januari was open for everyone, was it not? Or only preorder?
Jan 25-27: Preorder and Origin/EA Access subscribers who didn't preorder.
Feb 1-3: Anybody and everybody.........

Hmm, do we know if the content of the demo is the same for both demo's?
So if you've played the preorder demo, it's no use playing the public one?
We know it's 'mostly' the same, so likely same missions but world events may vary.
You can play Ranger + one other Javelin, so the two demos give you the chance to play 3/4 Javelins (unless I suppose you re-download the Open Demo to try and bork it to try the 4th).

Apparently the demo is replayable, so I wonder if you'd be able to choose different javelins each time...

It's not the demo that is replayable, it's the missions themselves. They announced that feature a long time ago.
They said you couldn't unlock all the Javelins which points to a level locked demo too.
