Not sure. It's a cosmetic, but it's not tied to any special edition. Whether it's one that'll be immediately available to you, or one you have to "acquire", I'm don't know...

I've had a few people asking me on whether or not Origin Access Basic includes access to the Anthem VIP demo on January 25th. The good news is that YES, you will still get access as long as you have a membership during the demo weekend.

Characters in @anthemgame are clad in a mixture of standard animation garments and fully simulated cloth. Tech animator settings to tweak character cloth behavior are robust and requires a specialized expertise with support from programmers. It was a team effort. #Anthem

It is a common trend in #gamedev to have ambitious plans for simulated cloth that need to be scaled back. Usually for performance and the shear amount of tweaking per cloth asset. Happy with what we were able to achieve in Anthem, especially the Storm's cape.

Fun fact: people working in 4 different time zones and countries contributed to the cloth in @anthemgame . Austin, Texas; Edmonton, Alberta; Guildford, UK; Stockholm, Sweden. Assemble your crew indeed!

Mike answered the wrong question. I've seen this question and confusion on Reddit. People are confused because they thought you are FORCED to have the Ranger first, and then you pick the order of the other three. I don't believe that will be true in the demo. I believe you pick whatever you want, and Mike is suggesting that Ranger is the best first pick.

There's so much tangled up in this. This is what I believe to be true from other tweets and public info: In the FULL GAME, you start with a tutorial suit, which is a broken down Ranger. Then at level 2, you get your first pick, and you can pick any of the 4. If you pick Ranger, you get your real Ranger, you aren't stuck with the broken one.

Furthering the confusion, the demo starts you at level 10, which is two unlocks into the suit progression. The whole broken down Ranger thing should be skipped -- unless they added a mini tutorial just for the demo. Since it's capped at 15, you only get those two. But they should be completely free choices, since you would get free choices at levels 2 and 8 anyway.

We decided to add more masterworks to the pool. The most rare have special properties, the others do not. Still VERY powerful tho.
