The map does have a zoom feature (at least on PC), but it is a very limited zoom.
Also, while in free play, you can call for help … Shinobu figured that one out in one of her free play missions with an Ash Titan.
I have not seen her "how to" … so perhaps she can share it with folks.
I don't know if there is an easy way. If not, having one would be nice, because what I did was not at all elegant.
I opened the social tab, opened the instance I was in and invited the other players already in it to "join" me. This only worked because I was at the entrance to The Well and the Lesser Ash Titan hadn't seen me yet. If I were already in a firefight this would have rapidly gotten me killed. Also, only one person ended up joining me.
Also, how can you kill Grabbits, you monsters! They are freaking adorable!

Kill 2 million grabbits as a community over the weekend or banshees show up in every mission.
I remember that week we failed the MEMP event and were punished with extra Banshees. It was awesome.
