Zombie NPCs? A ton of these NPCs have a lot of dialogue and animations that have to be rendered in real time, with many of them having individual interactions with themselves or our PCs. There's a reason why areas filled with a lot of NPCs are usually smaller and separated from the open world, DAI included.

I just remembered that Bio, during one of their live stream videos with Qs and As. one question was about walk/sprint. Bio replied that the speed limitation is due to streaming the scene to avoid frame drops. I found it odd, at the time.

Fixes include, the ability to shield while reviving allies using #AnthemColossus, and the end of Stronghold bosses now show loot dropping when defeated.

Anthem's "Day One" Patch is Actually Coming Today dlvr.it/QzKq74

"We're actually going to deploy the patch here in a few hours. We're going to do it with zero downtime. We'll issue some comms for people to log out of the game, get the patch, and go back in. We're excited to get that out ahead of worldwide launch," says Anthem lead producer Ben Irving.

According to Anthem lead producer Mike Gamble, the patch is "roughly" 6GB. The planned timetable for the patch's launch is in 4-6 hours, so starting around 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. BioWare already released the full patch notes in a post on Reddit. The team also said that the next patch is coming in a few weeks.
