Hello again Anthem Community!

Today’s world-wide launch marks a big milestone for Anthem. Here at BioWare, we’re excited, and at the same time a little anxious.

Coming off our Early Access period, we understand that we have lots of work ahead of us to continue to improve the game. As a Live Service team, a core tenet for us is listening hard to the community. We use that insight to fix issues and make Quality of Life fixes to the game. Our most recent patch – the one you are playing now — reflects your feedback. You can see the list of changes here. Many came from listening to you. Beyond that, we have a growing list of improvements we’re evaluating for the future. You’ll start seeing the next of those this coming week.

While launch is our most significant step yet, it is also just the first of many in fulfilling our long-term vision for the game.

I look at today from two perspectives. As a gamer, I’m excited by what we’ve created with Anthem and the promise it carries for a long future behind the game’s lush world, immersive lore, rich characters, and core gameplay. As a developer, I know we’ve worked hard to strike a balance of engaging BioWare story combined with fun action-gameplay and multi-player progression; I also know how much more we want to bring to the game.

Anthem’s launch represents a commitment we’re making to you: we’re just getting started.

We shared a preview of our Live Service calendar 2 weeks ago. Today, I’m excited to share our first 90-day roadmap. It includes more insight on what we are planning for the game and the community. We’ll be talking in more detail about this roadmap in upcoming streams and social media.

We also commit to sharing updates with you frequently and consistently. I look forward to hearing more of your feedback on our plans and the game overall.

I’ll close by welcoming you to the game and thanking you for your support and feedback thus far. This is just the start of a rich Live Service we’ll be creating together. See you in game.

We had a minor service interruption on #AnthemGame and are now starting to recover. If you experienced connection or crash issues in the last 45 minutes this may have been the cause.

Hi Aleksander! Thank you, I’m so glad you are enjoying Anthem. That issue is a streaming tech constraint but we will continue to make improvements

I think the NPC that handles store items is only unlocked once that mission is beaten. I think it was the same with the Pathfinder gear for Andromeda.

Because vanity items don't drop from chests, at least ATM, and you have to unlock the forge to equip them anyway.

Attention Freelancers! A new patch just went live for #AnthemGame, read about the changes here:

I can say that last night. I did not have one single audio issue. So far this is working two nights in a row. Will see how today fairs.

I made the change … played both Anthem and Andromeda MP. No total loss of game sound, so far, in either. But that bug is streaky in its nature, so I'm holding off in declaring it fixed … I can literally go weeks without it hitting, only to have it come back with a vengeance for a few days … then disappear again.

The narrator bug (Owen, et al/Kandros) … still there, no change, either in Anthem or MEAMP.

If it fixes complete loss of sound, I'll take it as a near-term win … until BioWare (and Dice) finally fix the Frostbite sound issues for real.

Its so random. I always have 24/44 as default setting on my old PCI pro audiocard. Windows cannot touch it, there is no settings in Windows itself anymore to change it...
It still happens as I happen to play MEAMP every day still, its a freaking drug... anyway, usually on Paradox and wave 1-3  .. usually not later. Then its much more random at any other firebase, but Paradox? Yeah. Highest %.

I havent yet have it happen on Anthem at all. Some small gaps have happened when flying around, but then again, the gap happened on the gfx too. Like a single stutter for a couple of frames missed rendering and playing audio stream.
