Over ambitious project for its launch target date.
Well, at least we can agree on the fact that the project is indeed ambitious So long as game has strong studio support, they'll pull this off. The majority, if not all games of this kind launch with problems or underwhelming reception and then they build themselves up. Stewing in development for too long is also not healthy - IMO better to finally have the launch over and show how well or quickly the game changes, or how it shapes around input of the wide playerbase.
Agreed. If only the studio had more time.... The demos gave Bio no help with the critics....

They kept things close to their chest... prior to release date. Guess what day is today. They've been saying that they will go into more detail pos-launch for a while now.

What do you mean by sound was generally awful? Stuff like not being able to hear people talking when standing behind me, spotty sound effects (though that might be part of the bug), etc. Oh yeah well then yes, there are multiple instances of speech volume dropping if you aren't standing in the right position etc. I thought you meant more hardware type stuff or complete audio drop out.

Regarding the Legion of Dawn stuff....seems odd to me that a mission would be required in order to collect pre-order bonus items. Why aren't they in a chest somewhere as soon as you have control of your character?

Regarding the Legion of Dawn stuff....seems odd to me that a mission would be required in order to collect pre-order bonus items. Why aren't they in a chest somewhere as soon as you have control of your character? I think the NPC that handles store items is only unlocked once that mission is beaten. I think it was the same with the Pathfinder gear for Andromeda.

Here is the list of fixes: -The final boss in the “Return to the Heart of Rage” stronghold and crit path mission will now properly appear if a squad of freelancers wipe before reaching it. -HDR on consoles can now be properly turned on. -Fixed a number of issues that were causing players to crash. We are continuing to investigate additional issues that the community have been reporting and will provide more updates on when they will be fixed.

I did set my audio to 24bits - 44100hz and not a single audio issue tonight. I did have it at 24bits - 96000hz originally. I'm trying this out as well, though I suspect it'll be at least a few days before we can conclusively say one way or another. I can say that last night. I did not have one single audio issue. So far this is working two nights in a row. Will see how today fairs.

I made the change … played both Anthem and Andromeda MP. No total loss of game sound, so far, in either. But that bug is streaky in its nature, so I'm holding off in declaring it fixed … I can literally go weeks without it hitting, only to have it come back with a vengeance for a few days … then disappear again.
The narrator bug (Owen, et al/Kandros) … still there, no change, either in Anthem or MEAMP.
If it fixes complete loss of sound, I'll take it as a near-term win … until BioWare (and Dice) finally fix the Frostbite sound issues for real.

I made the change … played both Anthem and Andromeda MP. No total loss of game sound, so far, in either. But that bug is streaky in its nature, so I'm holding off in declaring it fixed … I can literally go weeks without it hitting, only to have it come back with a vengeance for a few days … then disappear again. The narrator bug (Owen, et al/Kandros) … still there, no change, either in Anthem or MEAMP. If it fixes complete loss of sound, I'll take it as a near-term win … until BioWare (and Dice) finally fix the Frostbite sound issues for real. Its so random. I always have 24/44 as default setting on my old PCI pro audiocard. Windows cannot touch it, there is no settings in Windows itself anymore to change it... It still happens as I happen to play MEAMP every day still, its a freaking drug... anyway, usually on Paradox and wave 1-3 .. usually not later. Then its much more random at any other firebase, but Paradox? Yeah. Highest %. I havent yet have it happen on Anthem at all. Some small gaps have happened when flying around, but then again, the gap happened on the gfx too. Like a single stutter for a couple of frames missed rendering and playing audio stream.

Is anyone else who has the Legion of Dawn Edition having trouble redeeming the soundtrack? I've logged in and gotten my LOD bonuses in game, am logged in to the right account, but the page still tells me to either sign up or buy.
