It’s time for some updates on PTS and what we’re doing over the next couple of weeks.
To start, we’re turning on more of the arenas in the Cataclysm over the weekend. Some of you may have already noticed, but 5 arenas are now active as of today (there were only 3 active previously). On midday Saturday we’ll be turning on 7 arenas that are in the Cataclysm to let you experience them all. Feel free to jump in and check them out if you’re on PC!
You may have also noticed that we didn’t have a new build this weekend. This is because the team is currently working on implementing some of the feedback that you all have provided us, and so that we can have a build with even more changes for you to check out in the near future.
Thank you all for taking some of your time to share feedback after playing on the PTS, it’s extremely helpful to the team! We'll provide more updates once the next build is ready to go up on PTS.
SavageSean @savagesean75 When can we expect the currency we are acquiring to be able to be used? And with that a breakdown of the war chest costs and their contents of new items?
Jesse Anderson @darokaz We'll be adding that in one of the future PTS updates, I haven't heard a timeline on that yet though.
Nopahking @nopahking1 @darokaz not sure if you can answer or not, but I was wondering if we will be getting more creatures to fight in this update? Besides the crystal ones. I have recently got the anthem art book and there are some seriously cool concepts for wildlife in there.
Jesse Anderson @darokaz I know there are the crystal variants, which do have some different behaviors and moves, but not sure if we'll have any completely new creatures or not. We'll likely have new creatures in the future either way though.

AJ was kind enough to shoot and edit some very cool behind the scenes work being done by the Anthem team. This includes concept art, world building, animations, cinematics, and a special look at two event armor sets.

Anthem @anthemgame Heads Up: Anthem will be down for maintenance on June 18th for 2 hours starting at 9 AM Central Time. We'll also be rolling out update 1.2.1 which contains some fixes and updates for future content.
Jesse Anderson @darokaz Future content = Cataclysm content. We wanted to give some context for why there will be a download when the patch notes will just show bug fixes.
Cosmetic Fixes - Fixed a number of bugs that prevented select cosmetic items from being presented correctly in Prospero’s store and/or the Forge.
UI Fixes ● Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would disappear on specific instances when going into the Forge (while using keyboard & mouse controls). ● Various other minor UI bug fixes.
Combat Fixes - Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause characters and enemies to appear frozen after the frozen effect had worn off.
Matchmaking - We’ve made some additional improvements to our matchmaking experience by enabling longer timers for players to match into a squad, while also fixing a bug from a previous update that forced some players to matchmake for longer than intended. The new max limit for matchmaking should take no longer than 90 seconds.
