So... Anthem's release date is still stated as spring 2018. I noticed that too... though spring runs through June 21st so that would still be in their next FY. |

Still better than another frozen world I would prefer frozen worlds over deserts and jungles. There's much more of the latter ones than the former in these games. Already confirmed months ago that it's not an RPG. Yes, although it remains unclear what that means exactly. |

Anyway, when it's XBOX exclusive it will also be on PC because of that new Play Anywhere thing Microsoft came up with. There's a chance it won't be on PS4 I feel... While I could imagine it being a MS (PC/XB) exclusive (which would help promote Scorpio), I would be very surprised if that were the case. Like the rest of their games, I expect to see this on PS as well. |

Do you guys think ANTHEM is an abbreviation for something? Technology? The base station? The planetoid we are on? I think it may just be a theme or perhaps a name of the group - 'anthem' after all is 'a rousing or uplifting song identified with a particular group, body, or cause'. The world appears to be inhospitable, possibly apocalyptic, so the need for an 'anthem', be it literal or metaphorical, prooooobably exists there. |

It is a bit disappointing though that EA is demoing their brand-spankin' New IP... at MS's keynote.  I imagine MS rolled up with a dump-truck of money to make this happen (and help promote Scorpio), but EA's conference would have been just that much better if they did it themselves. |

I doubt it's just a "name" they came up with, following BW formula for title names, they all made sense in a way. Mass Effect, Dragon Age (although DA is much more vague after DAO ). |
