It is a bit disappointing though that EA is demoing their brand-spankin' New IP... at MS's keynote.  I imagine they rolled up with a dump-truck of money to make this happen (and help promote Scorpio), but EA's conference would have been just that much better if they did it themselves. Maybe it's a good thing? Perhaps tomorrow there will be more time to show things than there would have been at EA Play? That's if I'm being very optimistic about what Gamble calls 'lots more'. |

Something I think is worth pointing out:
EA has emphasized story in all of their games today. They've added story modes to their sports games after the success of "The Journey" mode built with Bioware's Frostbite tools (Did the Journey have dialogue choice? I don't know). They corrected the error of not including a single player story in Battlefront.
So I'm not too perturbed by EA's insistence on calling it an action game and emphasis on the live service, it seems they understand the importance of story and it would frankly be bizarre if the Bioware title of all things were to skimp on single player story given their emphasis on it.

I mean, EA has never been good with the whole E3 presentation stuff, their conferences haven't really been 'talk of the town' in past years from what I've seen - even now this stuff I now watch is... guhhh, show something more interesting already. |

It's not as though EA is putting out new AAA IP every day. But EA was obviously okay with selling exclusive demo rights to MS. As @nappinhappycat pointed out, it would be interesting to know what kind of money that takes...  |
