Being able to solo relieves a lot of anxiety. Now...where is the money going to come from? Subscription? Microtransactions? There doesn't seem to be any class restrictions. It's based around what Javelin suit you are wearing. So maybe you start with one suit and can buy the rest for your arsenal? If Jade Empire hits backwards compatibility I'll pick that up since I never played it. Probably initial sales at first than probably a lot of customization options that you can buy for the Javelin.

This is not like your typical mmo. It's gonna be a one time purchase. Obviously we dunno how dlc or post content will work but hopefully it's cheaper than Destiny urgh. Microtransactions.... wouldn't be surprised but least it's just pve I guess... urgh.

Their might be microtransactions too, because every AAA games with mp have these now.

I would assume you can acquire other suits through the course of the game and with in game currency. I imagine content expansions will be the way to go for profit. In Destiny the only other way they make money is to purchase silver, a special form of currency you need to buy from a specific merchant in order to get mostly cosmetic items. You don't need it to buy the best equipment, those you get through raids and exotic quests.

I do hope the suits are like Fallout 4's suits, completely optional but highly encouraged. I don't see how. They specifically said that to go outside the hubs the humans in the world need to use the suits. What's the point of a CC then if I'm never going to see my character? Assuming that the first person camera is only during hub worlds. Also, it kinda defeats the purpose of player "choice" doesn't it?

The purpose of the trailer was to show off the game's graphics, environments and suits. Even the combat wasn't really shown a lot.

A question Hrungr, since you've been paying attention, do we know how much of a writing team has been working on this?
Could be indicative of how much character interaction we can expect to encounter in the hub. I imagine they wouldn't need a full team if this was extremely slimmed down from previous Bioware games.

Yup. But Bioware's been super weird lately. *Looks around* I recognize this section of my gaming universe less and less. Well Bioware is trying diversify it's game release line up. I mean, hell, Shattered Steel is their first game and they developed MDK2 straight after Baldur's Gate. And they also created Sonic Chronicles for Nintendo DS. And Mass Effect 1 was also a very not-Bioware game at the time. Every once in a while, Bioware releases a game that does not look it belongs to Bioware line up. Nobody remembers those 3 games.......... That should say something. I knew Bioware because of Baldur's Gate and then Mass Effect and then Dragon Age. I just hope they are not changing too much. ; ; It IS nice they've stated the story can be completed solo and there is morality and dialogue options. So maybe it's just a gritty ME (sort of) with integrated multiplayer. *crosses fingers* It DOES look really good. And it's certainly comforting to see actual gameplay then just concepts like they did with Andromeda...... :s

Could be indicative of how much character interaction we can expect to encounter in the hub. I imagine they wouldn't need a full team if this was extremely slimmed down from previous Bioware games. Other then Gaider, I remember Mary Kirby working on it. I do know Sam Maggs, Jay Watamaniuk and Sylvia Feketekuty work on it.

I always suspect Drew Karpyshyn was involved as well... I doubt he move all the way to Austin just to handle SWTOR's story expansions... That'd be a good news and hint towards a good aumont of story content in the game.

There's also some recent changes to SWTOR team too. The producer Ben Irving likely move on to Anthem as well. But I would wait until the rosters were official rather than speculate.
