If you could have the clone of an OT squadmate emerge from cryo to join you in MEA, who would you ch

Okay, how about this.  Niftu is the protagonist of the next game and Grunt is a companion.  Instead of using the Nomad Niftu just rides around on Grunt's shoulders.

Anyway it's a difficult choice as to who I'd bring.

Non-squad npcs sure, there are plenty I can think of who I wouldn't mind bringing but most of the OT squadmates belong where they are. I wouldn't want G&T or Wrex or Liara or anyone else displaced from Shepard's crew.

I like the MEA crew and feel like they all belong there. Throw in a couple of new faces in DLC (assuming high likelihood of quarian and/or other possibilities) and I'd still be satisfied.

But in all honesty I'd really love a hanar crewmember if not squadmate - no not the ridiculous blasto parody, but the serious/beautiful nature of the hanar which was criminally underdeveloped in the OT.

Thane touched on some of the aspects of hanar society but I'd love to experience it directly in game with a serious hanar character (ie not comic relief).

On that note it's sad that bioware chose to make the three most interesting species in the game - hanar, elcor and volus - into channels of comic relief, when they are seriously interesting concepts for aliens and could have been explored in depth.

Well, you get really close to that in Andromeda with his son. He just needs to be made joinable.

Well some people believe that Shepard was not brought back from death, that he had been dead too long, that Cerberus created a clone instead.  ME2 was my least favorite story.  No way the real Shepard would of spent any time working with Cerberus.

Ah, well yeah the whole Lazarus thing was pretty stupid.  But no, Shep isn't a clone.  Just a space magic zombie cyborg.

His personality + his name + a sadistic half mask. Maybe the Kett got to him and mucked up his *pretty look*.

Now with a rage to match his new face and a voice thrown through a rebreather Vader style. He joins us to take down the Kett Empire that is now invading because PXXXX restablished communications with them.

Crap he would be a great MEA 2 team member over our light hearted puppy and flower crew.😈

Though another user brought up a good point too: would we really want to inflict Tired Face Syndrome on our beloved squadmates? Tali and Legion are immune of course, and the more alien, the more resistent they'd be, but still, they'd never quite be the same...

Still, besides Miranda, and Javik I'd pick Kasumi. Always Kasumi Plus her hood actually gives her good resistance!

Too bad Lexi apparently had thousands of kids that look just like her. That Liara pic is a stark reminder of how much scalier she appeared in ME3. I still think she looks best in that game, but the texture sure is pronounced. 

Honestly, I wouldn't want any of the oldies to return.
