If you could have the clone of an OT squadmate emerge from cryo to join you in MEA, who would you ch

Since the story of this game is the biggest ass pull in the series they could've send Aria to Andromeda.

Garrus of course. He was my second in charge throughout the original trilogy, a loyal friend, a direct talker, emotionally stable, a great fighter and a survivor, someone who adds leadership in support of yours. Drack comes closest, but I don't know and trust him like I knew Garrus.

No one in Andromeda comes close, they're all slightly neurotic. I mean, just like real people, self included. But I miss that larger than life protector and friend.

Kaidan or Mordin (with his ME2 VA). Both have things to do in MW, though. So I'd rather keep them there, for myShep.

Kasumi Goto, she could bring the Kassa Locust while she's at it.

While I didn't think much of Liara in Mass Effect, The Lair of the Shadow Broker and Mass Effect 3 greatly changed my view on her and I regret that I didn't pick her as Love Interest in Mass Effect. Miranda and Garrus are big names as well. However, I certainly don't want a clone. Liara evidently stayed in the Milky Way and must be a matriarch by now, but, since she was relatively young in the original trilogy, her natural life span has not yet ended, even though 600 years have come to pass.

She could start traitorous and end religious.

Miranda for leadership (and LI), Mordin for science banter with Suvi and Grunt for a fighter duo with Drack.

This thread got me thinking which squad mates are likely to be still alive, assuming they weren't killed by the choices of Shepard throughout Mass Effect and nothing terrible happened thereafter, but neither did spend time in cryo:
