I know it seems an odd question but when I was grinding out my uncommon kits/weapons, which I finished tonight, I didnt get many uncommon mods. Do mod cards have a different drop rate than kit and weapon cards?
I dont know if I should keep buying advanced packs to try and max the UC mods or start grinding Expert packs for rare kits/weapons?

The first item in a crate will not be a mod unless there is no other option.
You need to get a second silver card to have a chance at getting a mod at equal rate as other items on that card.
You are more likely to get a silver card in a gold pack than a second silver in a silver pack. Meaning gold packs drop weapon mods more than silver until you have all other silvers.

What misguidedworm said. Buy the 50k expert packs. I bought just enough 20k advanced packs to get my uncommon characters fairly high (rank VII-X), then switched to 50k expert packs only. My uncommon mods are now about as high as my uncommon weapons at this point (rank VI on average).

After I maxed out all my uncommon weapons and characters the store seemed to prefer giving me rare guns over uncommon mods in Advanced packs. That went on for about 6-8 packs then the rare guns stopped and now it's just mods and I have about 30 silver mod cards to go. So yea, moving up to Expert packs seems to be the smart move.

Just buy Expert packs only. You will max out uncommons sooner than URs that way...

The drops are heavily weighted against mods. Character > Weapon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mod.

The drops are heavily weighted against mods. Character > Weapon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mod. Not in my experience. I have most silver mods maxed or at high level, but I still don't have a Carnifex at all. Not that I'm really missing out on something here...

After finishing uncommon weapons and chars the advanced packs usually give me 1 or 2 uncommon mods per pack which makes it a better choice than the more expensive packs if you want to max these asap

I know this isn't the optimal way to spend my credits but what I did:
Basics until all Commons maxed Advanced until all Uncommons maxed
Within each of those rarity tier, yes I got the mods last (after characters and weapons) but who cares? I was going to max them all anyway.
I am now buying exclusively Premium packs for Rares/URs.
Works for me.
