I have found four remnant puzzles so far that have two solutions. The game will call one of them a failure, but they both satisfy the rules.
(if anyone has already posted this, my search did not find it. Chalk that up to a really bad BSN search function.)

I haven't seen a post about it, but at the same time I haven't encountered it in the game either.

I can't say I confirm it, but at some point, I was positive that all the rows and figures are matched (had rechecked it several times), but yet I had an error. I thought that maybe it was just me.

Yeah, that happened to me...i noticed two glyphs. That could be placed 1,2-2,1 or 2,1-1,2. One way worked, the other failed. Luckily, there were only two options, so it wasnt a huge issue.

(if anyone has already posted this, my search did not find it. Chalk that up to a really bad BSN search function.) Are you sure you're following all the rules? There are three rules: no matching figures in rows, columns and highlighted shapes. I had thought that I had found a puzzle with two solutions, but had neglected that last rule bc I didn't understand it. Once I did, I realized my error. The "highlighted shape" rule is not well explained and the shapes are not very well highlighted, but usually these are boxes within the large puzzle box, but sometimes the "highlighted shapes" are different shapes. Common square shape: cdn1.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/8181659/mea_soduku_0001_Layer_1.jpgHere is a picture of less common "highlighted shape," with circled errors within the shape that lead to FAILURE if you press the solve button before correcting:

I never ran across that peob, but it does seem odd. Only guess is that the game is peogramed to only accept a preset result. If anyone else finds this, could you please post a pic of them.

My guess is you had a mistake in a block which is the most common error and easily overlooked. There is only one solution per puzzle I've found. I love sudoku and generally if you've never played it or only played beginner levels you may not have a grasp of the blocks as I said the most common error even in sudoku.

Yes, can confirm. Never had done a sudoku before, so on my 1st PT tried to solve most myself, although used a couple of decryption keys I had.
I had 2 fail even though there wasn't duplication of a symbol per line, at least according to the rules I had looked up online. One was a simple one and the other more complex but I don't recall offhand which ones. I just assumed each puzzle had a specific solution and I didn't match it - just kept playing without giving it much thought.

Considering the OP's pretty quiet and could've easily made a mistake right there (seriously, shape is, in some cases, the reason why I solved the god damn puzzle under 15 seconds - 4x4 or 5x5 sudoku can be primitive unless they give you like three numbers total, and the real deal is 9x9) I'll just assume this is a hoax. Or whatever you call this stuff.

The first puzzle I noticed for shape was the bonus puzzle in Elaaden vault. That was a very difficult puzzle, and only solvable with the shape clue. It could be earlier puzzles had the shape rule, but I'm pretty sure the earliest puzzles didn't have that rule. If they did, It got completely past me.

I always solve these by drawing it out on paper (for difficult ones, at least). I make sure there are no common symbols in a row, a column or a box. When that is satisfied I get the correct solution. I don't believe there are any secondary solutions. However, I'm familiar enough with Sudoku that I know how it works.

It's incredibly frustrating af because then I have to memorize the solution that failed once I run up against it so I can do the alternative.

I don't have a pic but OP is right. I've had it happen to me too. I've solved puzzles correctly based on Sudoku rules but it's a failure due to it not being the specific answer they want.

wait, what shape clue? where are the shape clues? What I noticed in the Elaaden puzzle was faint outlines dividing the puzzle into five shapes with five cells in each. The shape rule was that each shape had to have no duplicates. With that clue, the puzzle could be solved. I don't recall that rule on the Eos puzzle, but maybe I just missed it. The outlines were so faint, I didn't notice it until I couldn't solve Elaaden, and I was looking for something I might have missed.

Usually what happens is that if there are 5 symbols, you can complete 3 sets of symbols and will have 4 spaces left and 2 symbols to fill them. No matter what symbol you use, in those remaining squares, you'll be right but the game looks for a specific solution so even though you're right, you're wrong.

I think any supposed second solution is forgetting the highlighted shapes rule, which is not present in Milky Way soduku. The shapes could be highlighted better, too. And the square currently selected seems to obscure the highlighting lines even further.
But if anyone can put together a pair of screenshots to show it, by all means. Let's see it. If people agree it looks legit, report that shit on EA Answers HQ.

If people agree it looks legit, report that shit on EA Answers HQ. The "shape rule" is present in real life sudoku. in a 9X9 sudoku puzzle, the area is divided into 9 3x3 squares, and no number can repeat within those squares, as well as the vertical/horizontal rows. The only difference here is that the zones are different shapes, due to 5X5 not being divisible evenly across rows.
