I read that the salarian from Kallo's loyalty mission was actually a squadmate who got cut for being too much like Garrus. Supposedly he is voiced by the same human as Garrus.

Oh, yeah that's Brandon Keener. I liked this character, but I'm not sure I would have liked him as a squadmate. Of course, Bioware is going to have to work really, really hard to top Mordin.

Oh, yeah that's Brandon Keener. I liked this character, but I'm not sure I would have liked him as a squadmate. Of course, Bioware is going to have to work really, really hard to top Mordin. Kirrahe would've been a fine addition. Or Jondum Bau. |

The game was lacking that edgey companion that rides the line between good and bad...pragmatic or cold. Drack is too grumpy old man with an obvious soft side to fit that role. I think Cora was maybe supposed to be that? Really she's just kind of a less bitchy Miranda. Everyone else is really friendly and/or downright goofy. |

I mean, I don't think we need Jack-level angst in all the games or anything, but it just all felt so PG-13 to me. I would have loved to have a companion with a little...umph. I mean, for complex characters with a bit of edge (but not overblown), we had Garrus, Wrex, Miranda, Thane...well...shit...almost all of them from the OT. I mean...it feels like the mature rating for this game was all about the boobies... |
