I killed the AI. I can't justify letting it live. What could it give me? Given that the machine constantly lies (and can block SAM's efforts at scanning), I doubt I would learn much.

I chose to save the AI and keep it in the SAM Node. The first, because all its actions could be justified as self-defense. The second, because the AI could attempt to kill the angara and, considering their trust and decision-making skills (demonstrated by the nameless prisoner), it likely would have succeeded.
