Yes, imo uncommon guns keep Gold fun, many of the rare guns are a bit to powerful for my liking for Gold team games, there are exceptions as well of course (some rare guns are kind of weak).

Out of Vindicator and Incisor, yes, all of them. Maybe Phalanx and Scimitar rarely, but the others quite often.

I like quite a few of the uncommons  phaeston (human soldier) phalanx (anything biotickey, the pewpew is strong with this one) locust/tempest on FQE, though I prefer the locust. Scimitar/eviscerator on my batarian doofers, as it's just used as a stick to wallop things round the head with. (JIM!  ) I'll quite happily goof around in gold with these. edit: tbh I'd goof around in gold even with commons though  |

Locust is actually really good with TSol on Gold with all the accuracy and stability bonuses in combination with the innate headshot multiplier. SI Viper is not bad at all. Occasionally I also use the Phaeston.

Yes, I do. Incisor, Tempest, and Phalanx are pretty much my favourite uncommons. Can't stand the Uncommon shotguns, Claymoar or GTFO. No, I'm not trolling, I do like the Incisor, once you learn how to use it, it's not bad at all. I forgot about the Incisor. It's fine in Gold on infiltrator of choice, I find that barrage gear is sufficient to tame the kick. I like it with thermal scope, HVB and level IV ammo depending on enemy faction. |

Yes, variety is good. All uncommons are usable on gold without too much pain (but this admittedly often involves infiltrators or turians). There are some weapons I like using in this category : Mattock, Eviscerator and Tempest. Phalanx and Viper are OK too. I use mattock quite a lot, its dps is huge and it's super light. It's my favourite weapon on the slasher : build. Tempest occasionaly. And phaeston Tsol is completely platinum worthy. And Loufi, if you've got a build that makes the viper half average I'm a taker, currently I rank it worst weapon in the game (more or less). No, not really, besides putting it on the DAI or GI. It's passable too on the SI who can get headshots (quite needed on that gun) more easily with Energy Drain and has a debuff. It's not a weapon I use on a weekly basis but here and there it can be fun to try to make it works. |

Shoot everything that moves. Get overrun, MFG their ass to hell. |

I love using the Phaeston on the Turians, not just for lore reasons, but because it's also a good gun.
The Tempest or Locust on the Salarian Engineer is a favourite setup of mine too.
