I'd like to make a character with the Explorer profile, but I can't mix powers together well enough to have a satisfying build. I'm level 81 and I'll jump to NG+.
If you have any suggestion, I'm interested, powers and weapons wise.

Vanguard=God mode.
Explorer is cool if you can master the teleportation, through walls and obstacles.
I recommend a construct from tech that can prime, detonation skill from biotics, and either barrier or turbo charge from combat.

I'm pretty sure that I'll be using Explorer for my next Favorite/build. My loadout will be Turbocharge/Tactical Cloak/... damn it, PeeBee's tech power. (I'm away from the game and drawing a blank.) Either Soldier or Infiltrator could work for this, but I like Explorer's bonuses.

Yeah Peebee's Invasion is pretty nifty. I like using my Engineer favorite with her, since we both use it and I have mine set to explode at a certain health threshold. For my Explorer I generally go the basic Vanguard build but use Overload as one of the abilities. I always like having at least one tech ability for anything that isn't full Adept.

Explorer has big bonuses to Biotic power damage and Tech power cooldown. So what I usually roll with is Throw, Incinerate and Overload/Energy Drain. Sometimes I'll swap Charge with Overload or Energy Drain.

I think level 6 of the explorer profile only needs 78 points invested in each tree, which is 4 maxed powers (21 points each). So if you choose three weapon passives and combat fitness then you don't even need to worry about having active combat powers.
I'd focus on a mix of tech and biotics for active powers and use augments to boost combo damage. Make use of biotic blink too. If you position yourself right you can zoom in and out of the action.

This is the most obvious use for the Profile. I really like Sentinel, as well, for this type of build. The extra durability is useful when playing Insanity.

I'd use a Turbocharge/Charge/Cloak build personally with the Explorer profile. Maybe a Turbocharge/Cloak/Invasion alternate profile for bosses. %Power damage is awful. The weapon% is good and doesn't it give restoration too, so maybe a Lance/Annihilation Field/Energy Drain build could be good too, but guns>>>>powers right now at least. Once you get good with the dash you will almost never die unless you get synch killed.

My first Explorer profile used Incinerate/Lance/Overload. Worked really well as a primer, a detonator, and a primer/detonator, but I wanted to mix it up for following runs. For that I'm still experimenting with them.

for powers I use charge, cloak and turbocharge. I wear the maverick armor with heleus helemt and N7 legs and arms. I use a shotgun and assault weapon with a kett sword for a melee weapon

Throw+Flame Thrower+Overload
You have two Primers and two Detonators with the right skill tree. Throw and overload can work for long range and flame thrower works for short range. Overload eliminates shields and flamethrower works against armor. Add in cryo rounds and you can freeze then burst two enemies with throw. You can also prime two enemies with Overload then do a tech combo on both enemies with dual throw. Overload also gives you your shield back if you have that Tech passive (so you don;t have to rely on charge). I am currently using this with the sentinel class though because I enjoy the Tech armor.
I use explorer with my pull+throw+charge favorite or my backlash+Charge+Shockwave favorite. The latter you can replace backlash with singularity (singularity+charge+shockwave) giving you two primers (shockwave and singularity) and two detonators (charge and shockwave)

I ran Explorer almost exclusively on my first playthrough with Cryo Beam, Annihilation and Charge, and I was basically an unkillable tornado of death.

I used to run this cheesy explorer build. TC + Energy drain + Invasion with Piranha shotgun.
With a low enough TC cooldown via tech recharge module augments. I could invasion something go in cloak. Once cloak wore off, use biotic blink and then cloak would be off cooldown and rinse and repeat. You don't get damaged while using biotic blink and tactical cloak drops aggro.
I don't use it anymore sooo have fun with it.
