My title/link, "Girls play games?" could be said to be of the clickish baity variety. Yeah, I'm pretty sure she was deliberately choosing a clickbait domain when she started. Needed all the edge she could get with such PUGgerific crap on her site. Want me to add a link to it to the OP and start a collection of PUG Wisdom (Like I was hoping this would become, but people don't seem to be forthcoming with links)? Yup feel free, dunno if it'll really take off given where we are in the life of the game though. See weird tidbits around occasionally though.

On one hand, they were so clueless.
On the other hand, we had a website with similar foolishness, but it was somebody's bright idea to delete the whole thing.

I swear just today we had a textbook example of a Pug who had thoroughly studied the Pug Resource Library. He had scopes on both guns (can't for the life of me remember which) that really didn't benefit from them, no piercing mod nor AP, for Cerbs. I vowed to write it here but sadly forgot the whole lunacy of their equipment.

If you like it more power to you, but I've tried that setup and hated it, never again. Immediately re-equipped the Falcon. For plat I really like the GPS or the Saber on the GE. This is why people still play this game I can do things with certain gun/kit combinations that other people either can't or don't do. And it goes vice versa... There are so many ways to play. The new MP should have been a direct FB2 port of the old MP with new kits, maps and enemies. But thank God, we got jetpacks instead. It's pretty great how many variations there are for kits and what weapons you can use with them, truly a case of one man's trash being another's treasure. As far as ME:A goes, I'm going to see people's reactions toward the newest (already implemented?) patch and maybe the next one and that'll determine if I get the game.

Been playing a bit of the ME:A MP lately, on the borrowed Xbone. I have to admit, it has grown on me. But looking at ME:A in its current state, yeah ME3 MP is still way better. What I really dislike about it is that it's a HUGE grind to level up kits. Not only do you level them up per kit instead of per class, it just takes WAY longer. I've been pretty much playing one kit for three days straight, and it's still only level 13. And that's an uncommon kit, not even a rare or ultra rare. Go figure.

Yeah that's one of the bigger wtf were they thinking aspects of the game, whole thing looks like a giant clusterfuck with SP difficulty affecting MP difficulty, etc. Well if you come back hit me up, unfortunately my mic decided to take a shit and no longer works so no talking for me, but I can still hear things. It's pretty fucking annoying.

It's pretty fucking annoying. How does the SP difficulty affect the MP difficulty? I haven't heard that, actually. Also, I just played my first couple of silvers (got my common weapons maxed out), and levelling up does go quicker now, especially if you use those XP boosters. But it's still a grind. Also, it gets boring real quickly if you have only 5 maps to play. I heard there was a new map, like a simple square Remnant room, but I'm not seeing it on my list. Not sure what the deal is. I'll be back on the ME3MP soon enough. My buddy's back and he knows I finished the SP campaign, so the bell is tolling, haha. That sucks about your mic, man. Being able to communicate does make things a lot easier on the higher difficulties. ("PHANTOM BEHIND YOU!")

Apparently there's code that determines combo damage scalings and enemy armor damage reduction based on the host's SP campaign difficulty. It's...odd to say the least. There's threads on reddit and the MEAMP page about it

There's threads on reddit and the MEAMP page about it That sounds crazy. It's the first I heard about it. I find it hard to believe actually. I'll see what I can find. EDIT: found it. It's a bug, apparently... Source: www.reddit.com/r/MECoOp/comments/69m4l8/psa_to_improve_weapon_damage_set_your_sp/
Absolutely stupid bug. All of this applies to the host's settings. To increase your combo damage, set your single player difficulty to insanity as it scales to difficulty, but it's bug and the multiplayer uses the single player settings. However the opposite effect happens for armor damage reduction. To increase damage versus armor in multiplayer, set your single player difficulty to narrative.

I just love it when I run into completely clueless pugs that seems to think that the Krysae with Cryo ammo is an excellent choice on the N7 Fury, or Pugs with very high CP/N7 with BotB that seems to think that using both piercing mods with AP IV and a targeting VI is the way to go with the Adas, GPS or Venom.

I saw a pug this weekend with the headshot trauma module on a scorpion, and grenades +2 upgrade on their human female adept. I think the reason was they just didn't have any decent gear at all yet.

Just saw PUG Host with Drill Rounds on an Acolyte. (No, they didn't have a secondary weapon. 'cause projectile weapons travel faster with Drill ammo, right?)

Look on the bright side: since Andromeda is such garbage, we won't have to go through the emotional trauma of encountering bad pugs all over again.

The one thing that has weirded me out about ME:A MP is that just about everyone is doing objectives, and people will generally always revive you. I mean, it's a good thing, but it's just weird. I actually had people spontaneously teaming up with me and combining powers with mine. It's like that place actually exists, not just in dreams.
Not seeing a lot of ridiculous kit/weapon combinations either. It's like those pugs all stayed in the Milky Way.
I really don't get it. =/

ME3MP was the same way early on, there was tons of teamwork between random people you'd meet. Seems like the assholes were few and far between then. 2. There are no ridiculous kit/weapon combinations in ME:A.

My list of PUG-library card owning PUGS seen in my lobby continues: yesterday spotted a Turian sporting a Lancer with a scope and a recoil dampener (hence no extended mag), and no piercing. And this wasn't a noob.
