Played a couple of MP games today. Each time Origin informed me of someone being online, or offline, or playing something, or whatever, I momentarily lost movement control over my character - could still shoot, but the keyboard wouldn't work until the message windows goes away.
Anyone encountered that, or it's my special brand of luck?

The only solution I have found is to disable origin in-game.

I have had the same issue a few times as well. Usually it only happens when I am busting into a room like I am swinging 10 inches soft, only to find out that there are 2 phantoms and a geth pyro handing me the business.....

For some reason I can't get the ingame overlay to work anymore. It's activated in the general settings as well as for ME3 and I tried changing the hotkeys as well. When I create a lobby and click on an empty spot to invite someone Origin tells me I need to enable Origin In-Game - which is already activated so wtf? I was suspecting this as well but I have quite a few things running... Flawless Widescreen, Custom Crosshair and nvidia Shadowplay. No interfering keybindings though. It all worked fine before with the exact same stuff. I think I got the problem now though thanks to Sonashii - Antivirus software seemed to be the problem even though it was the same as before. I added an exception to the Origin folder and now it seems to be working (as intended^TM) again. Hopefully it stays this way. Thanks again!

I've had the DLC freeze/crash for around a year now, maybe longer. It has persisted through a significant mobo/CPU/RAM upgrade and accompanying OS upgrade as a fresh install.

I got another one for you: after loggin into Origin the default screen is always the "applications settings" - no matter what I choose in the dropdown that is actually supposed for the default starting screen. I googled the problem and apparently the only solution since some windows updates ago is to always start the damn thing as an administrator. Haven't tried it yet as I'm too lazy and just want to click on the icon in my taskbar. It's not annoying, just stupid and obviously "working as intended" ...
