How is/was your day?

It was good. Had breakfast at my parents at their new house, with them and my sister who's visiting from Wales. Also got to see my two year old nephew which was awesome, I've missed them both a lot. Then I was going to play some me3 mp with the guys tonight but I decided to skip it and drink some coffee and have some cake leaning back on my couch instead, watching some tv

Morning is not so good. Trying to keep food down. Will probably feel better in the afternoon, methinks.

Trying to get to a point, where I feel comfortable running this data center on my own. In case the world comes falling down, and I'm the only one that can make it into work (which happens, though it is rare).

It's my little stinker's first day of preschool....

Had finally finished summer holidays work today and had few beers with a mate, so it was a good day!

Weird af, so didn't sleep for last 24 hours since i went away for friends birthday, about 4/5 hours on the transport (there and back) drinks were a rip off, had to sleep on a floor in student accommodation so me and 3 other mates who were in the same situation decided to get first train in the morning. But at least people were nice so that's something!

Got decent amount af sleep last night, kids went to daycare/school without a fight. No flu yet. Sun is shining, so nice start for the day!

I'm self employed, I don't give a shit about working today and the weather is perfect. I'm taking a day off!

Day started well. Its hot. Will cut the grass later today when the sun is setting

Awful!

I woke up this morning and everything was good... got a reasonable amount of sleep... had some fun on the forums... had icecream (and cookies) for breakfast (dont judge me!)
Just after lunch I got a phone call from my mom who said that she wanted me to take her to ER because her eyesight was going weird... her boyfriend was at work and she was in no state to drive... so I drove over and picked her up... she was saying how she couldnt see half of my face and how there was a big circle with lines in and how everything was going wavy...

I cant stand my mom being ill... a few months back she had a mini stroke and even though shes fine it still makes me worry about her health

She was asked lots of questions like if she was slurring her speech and if she could raise her arms which didnt help matters either...

... I could never live without my mom... shes amazing... and I am starting to worry about her health a little... shes literally saved my life before and yeah... I worry about her

It wasnt to do with a stroke or anything they dont think. Shes gonna see an eye person about it... although they said its probably either an eye problem or a severe migraine... one of the two...

Im home now at least... even if I had to ring up and say I wasnt gonna be able to come into work...
