so thoughts: if you are one of the Ryder twins and you have found out the kett are going to be sending reinforcements to the Heleus culuster, how would you prepare to the impending invasion and why? here is the context: you have outposts on all the planets at available at 100 percent viability, all the arks have been found, and all of the biological blockers for proceation have been removed. aka you have 100 percent completed everything in the game is your starting point. and you know all everything that the game provides you about the kett and thats it. The Kett are a lesser evil. You should fear what launched the Scourge more. That stuff is programmed to bend towards and attack remnant tech and wreck it. Imagine if it's creators come back and program the scourge to arc towards milky way tech. Think about it. We need to find Jardaan survivors and collaborate with them to de-activate it ASAP.

They fought the Angarans for quite some time in mere skirmishes, if they had the manpower and resources for a full blown war they would have taken over the Angarans years ago. Maybe there is some trouble in the paradise (civil war, or a huge ongoing war against AI?) that has severely weakened the Kett empire so that exaltation is not a top priority. A civil war would make sense if the kett empire is like the Late Roman Republic, in which military commanders fielded their own armies and had absolute loyalty from their troops, IIRC. While the kett Archon had to report to his superiors every 15 cycles, he still had a lot of autonomy, it seemed. true but how much of the arcons results were hindered by his incompetence and his obsession with the remnant distract him from his main goal? like the fact he had a fleet of 20+ dreadnought that could have easily taken every world over, but he does nothing productive with it and squanders that whole fleet in the battle of meridian. i mean as much as the arcon was ment to be the smart intellectual villain he made alot of arrogant and stupid choices.

While the kett Archon had to report to his superiors every 15 cycles, he still had a lot of autonomy, it seemed. Thats an interesting scenario, as they said they've exalted so many species so their empire must be damn huge. And as we all know, beyond a certain size empires get complicated, splinter cells, autonomous groups, separatists, battles for leadership, intrigues... Maybe the Archon was only part of an enlistment force to gather enough troops for their own push?

Well if we'd actually bothered to bring them along we could have just sent one (maybe two) N7 squads to deal with the Empire whilst Ryder colonises some new worlds. Though because these Initiative morons seemed largely oblivious to the need for military strength at all, I suppose we'll have to send the Pathfinder to fight an entire army.
Not exactly shaking in my boots given what I've seen thus far.

Not exactly shaking in my boots given what I've seen thus far. i think we would need more than just an N7 squad to deal with all the Kett. maybe to scout out the kett and see how they operated and use guerrilla warfare, but thats it. but i agree that the AI made alot of stupid choices like not having the nexus, any of the arks, or the scouting ships have any sort of armament what so ever was a really bad idea.

Depending on Ryder's control of the Remnant, it may be time to hit the Von Neumann button.

Send a strongly worded letter to the genius that decided to move a hundred thousand people into an entirely unknown galaxy with no military equipment. Then lie down and cry.
Or just get Sarissa to make a giant barrier that covers the entire cluster.

Or stand in front of a mirror asking yourself why you joined in the first place She won't do that. She will be spending her time trying to take data from the kett.

You're at 100% everything? Time to make use of all the mineral resources you've been finding, break out the fabricators and get busy building arms and armament. Militarize the Resistance and develop a command structure for the AI.
Oh, and put some guns on the Tempest.

They better bring a lot of reinforcements, because I'm not really scared from what I've seen so far. A group of exiles and mercs with limited supplies sent the Kett packing from Kadara, and the initiative with only a small percentage of its people out of cryo sent them packing from the cluster altogether, running home to get reinforcements.

Did we lose our remnant army already? I figured they will make the foundation for defending the cluster otherwise we will probably lose horribly and sadly no one would be left to make sure they delete the vids.

Since SAM can help modulate your voice to sound like Kett, when the Archon's superiors start calling in for updates just pretend to be the Archon.

Since SAM can help modulate your voice to sound like Kett, when the Archon's superiors start calling in for updates just pretend to be the Archon. Attention….fellow Kett. This is the Archon. Everything's fine. How are you? I totally forgot SAM could do that though. It would be great for parties. Not to mention that the tech can be reverse engineered into new weapons to integrate into their current systems. I mean, some raggedy ass asari with nothing but a shuttle and a dream was able to hack an observer to do her bidding. You'd think some folks would be able to take the technology in the remnant turrets and various bots like observers and destroyers and create effective weapons of war themselves.

You know those guys on Kadara growing medicinal plants? (Scan them they really are medicinal.)
I'll be spending time with them. If any Kett show up we'll medicate them too and introduce them to Cheetos.
War over.
