so thoughts: if you are one of the Ryder twins and you have found out the kett are going to be sending reinforcements to the Heleus culuster, how would you prepare to the impending invasion and why?
here is the context: you have outposts on all the planets at available at 100 percent viability, all the arks have been found, and all of the biological blockers for proceation have been removed. aka you have 100 percent completed everything in the game is your starting point. and you know all everything that the game provides you about the kett and thats it.

Bake a poisoned cake, invite their leaders over for tea and hope they have a sweet tooth.
More seriously, it would depend on what stage of overall colonization/settlement/awakening of people in stasis had been reached, since that determines how much bonus manpower we would have.

I'll write a complaint to Tann about this.
There isn't much they can do anyway at this point. Presumably Prime Ryder will find some plot-device to fend them off.

I will go back to Milky Way. Why ? Cause i want to find out what happens 600 years ago in Milky Way and i completely don't care about Andromeda..
I'm sure BW great writers will discover another Geth Multi Super Mega thing to let me go back in 1 day.

We have a small finite number of people in the AI, not many of which are soldiers, no fleet, no warships, not even a a single gun on any of the Arks or Nexus. If the Kett decide to invade there is really only one thing to do.

How many angara are there? We're looking at 80,000 humans, salarians, turians and asari (maybe half of whom could fight and many who are still in cryo) and the angara against the entire kett empire. The odds don't look good for the Initiative in a straight-up fight.

Depends on how long it take for reinforcements to arrive and how large of a force will be sent. The kett know the locations for all outposts. They know the locations of the Nexus and Meridian. Ryder and others are already at a disadvantage. They don't have enough forces to protect those locations. The kett would send their whole force to one location and fire away. By the time any help arrives, the kett have moved on to the next location
If it takes years for the kett to send help, its possible that Ryder and others have a chance. They would need to build manufacturing plants to build ships, weapons. I guess Ryder can get the remnant robots to do that. Would it be enough? That depends on how large a force the kett send to the cluster.
Would using the remnant ships help? If they were armed it would. Maybe lure the kett into the scourge. That might work once before the kett catch on.

Assuming that there's no definite solution in sight for dealing with the scourge, that might actually give the Heleus groups a bit of a home team advantage, since they have more opportunities to map it, and the scourge itself is a deterrent from assaulting any worlds with a massive fleet without serious risk. Then of course there's no telling what activating Meridian means for the remainder of the remnant fleet at Ryder's disposal.
I would like the universe to expand a bit and show other races beyond Heleus that also oppose the Kett.

i would send scouts, to know how any ket ships or soldiers are they sending, and when will they arrive, i would call reinforcemens from all the friends and allies and faction, etc, soldies, scouts, ships, supplies, fuel, etc, fortificate the nexus and the arks, with turrets, shiels, etc
i would ned to know what is better, to wait for them and fight in the planets or to send ships and fight in the space or to invade their homeworld and conquer it that would be awesome for MEA2: invade the kett homeworld!

I might be wrong, but I'm going off the four Council races sending ~20,000 people each. Even if there are 120,000 Milky Way colonists in Andromeda, that's still not enough to defeat the kett by conventional means, IMO.

Well, if we base the Kett Empire off what the Archon said, no one in the Heleus Cluster could stop them. If they really did exalt "one thousand" species, the Kett would conquer casually, due to sheer numbers.
In that scenario.. I would take the Nexus and push it somewhere else.

They fought the Angarans for quite some time in mere skirmishes, if they had the manpower and resources for a full blown war they would have taken over the Angarans years ago. Maybe there is some trouble in the paradise (civil war, or a huge ongoing war against AI?) that has severely weakened the Kett empire so that exaltation is not a top priority.

Maybe there is some trouble in the paradise (civil war, or a huge ongoing war against AI?) that has severely weakened the Kett empire so that exaltation is not a top priority. A civil war would make sense if the kett empire is like the Late Roman Republic, in which military commanders fielded their own armies and had absolute loyalty from their troops, IIRC. While the kett Archon had to report to his superiors every 15 cycles, he still had a lot of autonomy, it seemed.
