By lag I don't mean bad framerates, I mean an actual delay between what happens "physically" ingame and when the game registers it.
I'll get hitmarkes with an up to 5-6 sec delay (the actual damage also occurs with that delay), combo detonations and powers in general are delayed, when I try to interact with something, like looting remains, the menu will come up after said delay. Not to mention how messed up it is when the player get's hit. It's literally like playing a multiplayer match with a very bad connection. And it's very inconsistant. It will go away mid-fight, or just be a shorter delay, it will reoccur later not so bad, or even worse.
This only happens when fighting Architects. I've fought every Architect 3 times now (Elaaden only twice) and it happens 100% of the time, sometimes almost not noticable, sometimes literally game breaking.
PC Specs: i5 4670k OC'd to 4,4GHz Gigabyte Radeon HD7950 3GB 8 gigs RAM DDR3 game is installed on an SSD
Running it on medium-high settings @ 40-60fps depending on where I am (Havarl is cancer and sometimes drops to 25fps). This game has a pretty bad performance for a Frostbitle game anyway. Other Frostbite games look 3 times as good while running 3 times as smooth.

ever considering of upgrading your RAM to 12 or 16 gigs? If the RAM is not enough, the game might need to do flush unused part of data and fetch a new one.. it's some kind of 'game asset unpacking' from game data which involves RAM, disk, and processor. SSD helps a lot, but if you have bigger RAM it might reduce the need of this flush/fetch process.
Previously I played this game also on 8 gigs, it stutters a lot (2-3 secs) and after upgrading to 16 gigs, so far never happened again.

Previously I played this game also on 8 gigs, it stutters a lot (2-3 secs) and after upgrading to 16 gigs, so far never happened again. From my experience RAM issues show themselves in extreme stutters. Like the game (rather the entire PC) will complety freeze for a second constantly and a friend of mine actually had this problem with MEA until he upgraded. I had no stutters what so ever, apart from low fps in some areas, which is undoubtedly because of my 4 year old graphics card. I should note that I'm using Corsair Vengeance RAM, so no cheap crap. RAM usage never goes above about 75%. Technically there's not that much going on when fighting an Architect, a big enemy, and a couple of minions, I didn't have this problem during the final bossfight, wich is odd since it's also an Architecht, with more stuff going on. Also multiplayer matches on gold with up to 3 destroyers and countless smaller stuff are certainly not less demanding. Maby it's related to the large maps on the planets and other quest related triggers or enemy spawns.
