What a really great video! Sooo many QOL that addressed my criticisms of the game! Looking forward to the vehicles!

People with the beta are discovering things.
Two months ago, a guy tested how far he could go after removing boundaries. He managed 140-150 km before crashing. With the new (beta) update, he stopped after 190km out of boredom, he didn't crash. The new map system update live as well.
Looks like Bethesda might be working on making landing zones larger to make land vehicles make more sense than the 8km x 8km currently in the game.
Hopefully they revamp the POI system, because vanilla has too much random buildings on planets that should be barren...

Hopefully they revamp the POI system, because vanilla has too much random buildings on planets that should be barren... I really hope a future patch or creation lets us disable those random buildings. Them spawning everyone goes against the lore and ruins immersion sometimes, like a big civilian mining operation being within walking distance of places where people say they’ve been stranded alone for years.

There are PC mods that make changes. I tried two. The 2nd one was such an improvement, fewer POI building density, more natural POIs and some rules about no-atmosphere/unlivable environment (same as outpost building) and distance from civilization too to reduce generation even further. It made exploration much more enjoyable and you see less often the same building as a bonus. Actually, after seeing a few mods playing with the procedural generation, I get the impression Bethesda devs just codded it and didn't tweak it much afterward.

Back in the day, I posted my take on how to improve structure spawning and how systems should be handeled. For some reason, that discussion took place in the spoiler thread but there are no spoilers in this post. It's actually pretty similar to what you suggest. I really hope we'll see mods implementing something like this in the future.

The mod I'm talking about in my post: www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/6812It doesn't do everything on your list, but it is still an improvement from the base game.
