Anyone using Ultra rares in Bronze?

If there are 1 or 2 waves left to complete for 200 waves challenge I use Ultra rares like Hurricane (or rares like Reegar), which I use next to never during pug games - in a Bronze solo.

There was only one pug game where I "used" the Reegar in Bronze.
That was when I couldn't find a Gold match. I just wanted to play one game before I had to go to work. I searched for U/U/U and got Goddess/Reaper/Bronze. My fully equipped and melee geared Worlard didn't need the Shotgun. Gentle Headbutts was all I need.

Only when I played a lot of platinum and an enemy annoyed me too much. URevenge helps a lot..

What's fun too is a bronze round with 4 highlevel/highgear novaguards or krogans after a messed up Platinum game .

Which vanguard is the "assguard"?

No, but I don't play Bronze anymore (except if it is needed for Solo Mastery). On Silver, OP Plat builds (with amps!) are common though, and sometimes they still fail. Example from yesterday: TGI+PPR and AIU+Reegar. They weren't even newbies, one of them was the "I'm topscoring in silver I'm a BAWS" type of player. As for myself, sometimes I equip URs in silver, when I play kits I'm bad with or levelling up after a promotion.

That's what I noticed, too. Way too many new players leeching. Is there any reason for this new influx of players?

I bought it purely for the MP, but then, I'm a long time ME2 Insanity Player, and watched my brother play Fury and Slayer on PC (Back in the days when a banshee would magnet grab you from the other side of the map, laggy or not, it was awesome watching him scream "No, NO, NO! NOOOOO!" at his monitor as he was dragged across the map). So I knew what I was getting myself in for, and where to start. I was slow in progressing to Silver, because Silver PUGs were bad, and for a long time, I thought I was the problem with Silver matches going badly, until I realized that it was me still alive at the end of every wave, and when I went down was when the mission when down. I was even slower progressing to Gold, again, because of the PUGs. Eventually I gave up, and started lurking the old BSN whilst I grinded away at Silver, messaged a few people on the PSN about playing some games, and tried to build a base of people I could play with (and maybe even learn from) without having to worry if I'd be left to carry all the time.

With that said, I have even less tolerance for leeches than I should. I don't care how good you are, or even if you equip half the time, what I care is that you understand the basic gameplay(Do the fucking objectives, use medigel, etc), and try. If you have difficulty, or troubles, I'm happy to help you learn, and help you make credits. What's important is your willingness to improve and play the game properly, beyond that, you can be half blind, playing with one hand with a sprained wrist for all I care. However, there are just far too many scorewhores and leeches in PUGs. I'd rather solo, except then BioVar thinks I need to get lag spikes all the time from said PUGs trying to join my PRIVATE lobby, if this was fixed, I think I'd do nothing buy solo.
