I am looking for your opinions on how to build the Juggernaut. Snobs, kindly please stay out of this, as I've seen some posts that defy common sense about it (like a Jug is supposed to "always be in your face with the enemy" etc.).
I would like the opinion of people who actually use this kit.

Adren Mod 3 (mobility on Jug is far more important then Cyclonics). At least 3 Points in Hex Shield comes in handy sometimes.

If pugs could post here, they would say always spec into large shield to protect your teammates with. Especially if they have shitty projectile weapons.

Ok then, since you asked (Juggernaut is probably my single most played kit), I have two different builds I use for him: Weapons BuildWould Spitfire if it wasn't level 3 (fk you trollstore). Weapon varies depending on mood. Siege Pulse All The ThingsAlso has Fire Explosions. Things I never do: Spec melee. Take omniblade. Take Reegar (tried it once, horrible). Take big arse fucking hexshield bullshit. Things I do: Missile idiot PUG's big arse hexshield. Siege Pulse enemies out of their useless melee.

There are a few builds I often use. The one thing that pugs don't understand it's that it's useless to boost melee damage : you won't get more sields back and its dps is extremely crappy. First build : turret. You just slap the spitfire on it and shoot everything to death. It's effective, fun and easy to use. A trick is that you go faster when you go backwards, so you can achieve a good spped by shooting while going backwards with an adrenaline module. The turret is mainly for allies because it gives very little shields back compared to what you have. Alternative weapons are the javelin and the particle rifle. If you feel you die too much just go cyclonic IV, you'll be immortal. Second build : engineer. The idea is to take advantage of the huge damage of the siege pulses and to do as many fire explosions as possible. The way to go is shoot acolyte => strip shields => prime for a fire explosion => shoot siege pule. The hurricane is for bosses. Or you could only go with a geth plasma shotgun. The only issue with this build is that you need to be the host or the siege pulses will be MUCH slower. Here's a friend playing it Edit : oh I realize I said more or less the same things as Arkhne, well my builds are better

My builds are more Australian, meaning they are blunt, but effective. EDIT: Also, didn't want to double post, so I will put it here: Hex Shield is actually an interesting offensive tool as well. The initial pulse, whilst not very powerful, does have a stagger effect, whilst the electric shock has a stun effect and primes for tech bursts. A full engineer build for the Juggernaut would be very interesting indeed (if he only had a run button, or noticably more speed base, due to the close ranged nature of Hex Shield attacks). The Shock effect doesn't seem to do much to armoured enemies, but it does seen to stun most mooks. Again, the low-effectiveness of it and the Juggernauts movement speed make it not a good choice to build around, but I did want to mention the good parts.

Just got around the actually watching any of that vid.
Your friend does a nice job of cancelling the Siege Pulse animation with Light Melee, however, if you are far enough away for Heavy Melee to not work, that is even faster.
For those that don't know, when activating your Siege Pulses (putting them on your shoulder, not firing them), the animation is really slow (like some stupid reload animations), and just like Reload Cancelling, most of it can be avoided through "clever use of game mechanics", both melees (even a failed heavy melee) will cancel it, I think throwing a Turret can as well. Uncertain as to other cancelling methods (such as PC medigel). Makes On-Host Siege Pulsing even more insane.

Roleplay Spitfire Juggy with lotsa dakka ClickyIf you are going to use a Piercing Mod, Warp Ammo will provide more damage. If you want penetration without damage penalty, you will need to drop the Piercing Mod. Sadly, Spitfire doesn't have innate penetration, otherwise stacking Penetration would be awesome. Even if it was 0.05m innate penetration, I would be happy.

Only Armor piercing ammo alone is not enough to wallbang thick boxes/walls There's Drill rounds of course, which I sometimes use, but they don't do as much damage.

I use the Juggy as a weapons platform, Adrenalin Mod, Pirahna with AP ammo and full Hex Shield. I play mainly off-host so I don't bother spamming Siege Pulse, I just keep moving and shooting. The Hex Shield is good if you get caught out in the open and need a quick RHA, and as Arkhne said it's good for setting up tech bursts and staggering enemies. And if it pisses off pugs, even better. They don't have to stand behind me.

I put 6 points in Airlock.
When I do use him (after much begging from friends because I never use it) I usually will bring a Javelin, or a shotgun because I'm Batgloving.
I skip the hex shield, use healing turret, and Siege Pulse for the DR. If he's gonna be a tank, I'm gonna use him like one: hard armor, big ass gun.

Always skip fitness 6. It is a damned waste of points no matter how you slice it. His passives are pretty garbage too. Build 56555. Siege Pulse all the things.

bit of a weird build but its to do the bloody tech challenges, since 2 of them are specific to geth juggernaut only (anyone else thinks that instead of a flamer the geth solider should have hex shields?) works very well on silver solos, golds its okay. mostly spam spam and guess what spam the siege pulse.. and its good for trolling with the hex shields! Build

I go max power damage and Fire Explosions:
Siege Pulse: Damage/Damage Protection/Number of Shots Hex Shield: Pulse/Shock/Damage Synergy (to offset HP Power Transfer) Geth Turret (3) (just so when I can't make it to a fallen comrade in time they can know I didn't forget about them) Geth Juggernaut (5): Damage & Cap/Power Damage Hardened Platform: Durability/Shield Recharge/Power Transfer Equipment: PPR w/Incendiary Ammo (could also do Spitfire if you wanted but it's a long cooldown to get SP back online), Omnicapacitor, Power Armor

The Juggernaut is a weapons platform, with his stability and ammo capacity passives he can handle several different weapons, but don't be like that dumb pug and slap the BW on him.
For build I always go with 0/6/6/6/6, as I concider the hex shield to be the most useless invention in history. For the turret I go with only damage evolutions.
AM III is far better than cyclonics, on Platinum he get's dropped fairly quickly even with a CM IV.
