I'll close and rest my eyes during the tedious travel animations. A quick glance at the subtitles during dialogues then I'll look out the window at the greenery then back again once the voice stopped to click on the next dialogue option, read subs then out again. Sometimes I'll just pull up the footstool, prop my feet up, lean back and do occasional clicks to get the conversation moving. All the while I'll think of the next book I'll be reading, moving the plot points of my fanfics or deciding what I should have for my next meal.

I take a lot of screenshots, and tell a story of my Ryder in my head. I usually use whatever story-telling style that I dig at the moment. Angst, colorful, silly... So, yeah, it's totally "Ryder She Wrote" only I don't have to type it, and edit it, and abandon it after Chapter 5 or so, because nobody but me cares anyway and my English sucks. Weee!
Uhm, right now specifically, I am browsing his journal a lot to sequence the Kadara segments and personal missions/scenery adventuring in a way that makes an interesting emotionally charged sequence for me as a player.
EDIT: my Andromeda beverages of choice are tea and sparkling sour cherry juice. |
