Sorry for repeating this question but this forum has the worst search facilities. I know skills carry over but not sure what items, armor., nomad skins blueprints or materials carry over.
Also I assume you can choose a specific save to carry over like in previous games?

Everything carries over, even Special Items tied to missions, so don't do it till next patch.

But I will not be doing an NG+ PT until after at least my 3rd PT (currently in my second), so hopefully this will be fixed by then.

As far as I can tell everything that is important, but the things you find in the game (not purchase) will disappear, such as the model ships you find on remote planets.
There is one thing to know about a NG+ game you will have the drone unlocked still but if you go to respec you will lose access to it until you complete the requirements to unlock it again so if you want to respec I would suggest doing it prior to starting a NG+. The other quirk is you will keep access to your extra consumable slots from AVP even if you don't buy them again.
Edit:
In NG+ there is also one bugged quest. If you upgraded the shields on the Nomad you will still get the quest to upgrade them via crafting, but since those upgrades continue into NG+ its impossible to complete.

So far this only seems to be true of the Movie Night quest chain, but I'm currently working around it to see if it's possible to avoid having the affected companions' dialogue trigger out of order. Suvi and Vetra seem unaffected and will ask in order, and the quest will still update if you repurchase their items. I don't know if you can actually give it to them immediately if it's in your inventory already but at least they can be normal. Lexi is affected, so I avoid direct interaction outside of special interactions to see if it works. Jaal is affected so I'm doing the same with him outside of special post-quest dialogue.

I found that the consumables didn't give me all 4 slots back in NG+. They were technically there when I pulled up the wheel, but you could not actually activate any consumables filling the next 2 slots so, so the AVP bonuses had to be unlocked again.

materials, consumables, credits, strike teams, special items, at least for me they did. The only thing that doesn't carry over is avp. The player has to start at level 1 again. As a suggestion, if you know you will start a new game plus in your current playthrough, craft armor and weapons with an extra augmentation slot, if acquired through avp, those items will be available once the player gets back on the tempest in your new game plus. One thing I like is if your Ryder uses whatever color for his/her armor and casual clothing, it carries over as well.

I like that bit about the color as well, but just a tip if you're hung up on tiny details like I am, I would reset the armor back to the default color before the final save. The Initiative helmet you start with in the game will reset back to its default color when Alec Ryder reaches the remnant controls on Habitat 7 just before the accident. My armor was basically all black at the start of the game, but then the helmet turned white. That alway bugged the hell out of me.

Yep, it will be better to wait for a patch if you are planning to do NG+. I played only 3 hours on NG+ and I find a lot of odd stuff.

Everything carries over, even Special Items tied to missions, so don't do it till next patch. So it means we are unable to complete those missions, right? That's very annoying. I wanted to make a NG+ after I complete this play through because I find a little boring when at the beginning we have only a limited number of powers: variety keeps the game interesting That's very sad indeed.

You will definitely have problems with some missions, movie night for example; I didn't wanna risk to trigger any other bugs so I just reload my save before my 2-nd conversation with Lexi /she already start to talk about movie night before I even get that from Liam/ and I will wait for a patch.

I haven't seen it anywhere around here yet, but I guess I'll update when I actually complete that quest to see if my workaround is actually successful. The quest chain is supposed to trigger after key missions (Suvi after Trail of Hope, Vetra after Hunting the Archon Kadara, Jaal after Hunting the Archon Flagship, Lexi after Journey to Meridian, etc..), so we'll see. Sucks that it has to be worked around at all, but as an avid quest fiend I must know!

The Movie Night bugs are just bizarre.
If you talk to the mods merchant on Kadara, you immediately get 'The Final Piece' part of the quest chain without even needing to talk to Liam about movie night in the first place :/
Right now I'm just hoping that by not actually completing the quests out of order, it'll still trigger everything properly.

I had this quest start early too, but what happened for me is that Liam will have dialogue about finding this video, and I can return to him immediately and turn it in since it's there. So I reloaded and undid that. So now I'm just keeping track of who gets what before I ever go back to Liam, which I guess is fine because he doesn't really have anything in particular to say once his heart-to-heart dialogue and loyalty mission are completed.

Hoping I'm lucky enough to find the seeking plasma augmentation. Getting some really good results off my new crafted Soned Assault Rifle (Kett minigun)

Getting some really good results off my new crafted Soned Assault Rifle (Kett minigun) If you manage to get the seeking plasma rounds first, I'd try it on a PAW AR. That thing can be pretty ridiculous, and because it uses the cooldown mechanic by default you at least don't have to wait for RNGesus to bless you with another VHS. With a heavy clip, it will fire lots before it overheats.

Their dialogue to actually ask for the items triggered on schedule for me. I think the bug does allow me to just interact again to submit the items without having to purchase though. I had a persisting issue with Lexi where Ryder was handing her the liquor, and now that I've avoided "unscheduled" dialogue for a period of time, it no longer occurs and I can talk to her normally again. Hopefully, her dialogue will be correct after Journey to Meridian. Jaal's persists though. I suspect if I avoid speaking with him outside of aftermath dialogue, his request dialogue may trigger like Suvi and Vetra's when the mission his dialogue follows is complete, or at least that's the hope. Man, maintaining proper order of Movie Night is like a job or something lol.
