So on my new game plus playthrough I started out by using a sentinel build with charge, incinerate and energy drain, and a dhan with bio converter.
Every time I reload with the bio converter tech armor procs and seems to stay active for a few seconds.
The description of tech armor says that it ''absorbs a significant amount of damage that gets past shields'' however with charge and ED my shields rarely drop but I still feel like I've been mysteriously tanky without dropping into health so this makes me think that the damage resistance from tech armor persists for a while (the visual tech armor does persist at least) for any damage that hits me after I've used the bio converter even if my shields are still up.
Somehat interesting discovery, I've been having a lot of fun with this build, could get even tankier if I researched the heleus defender chest and some of the remnant gear for even moar damage resistance. On my last playthrough I rank with charge, invasion and turbocharge which was great for dps, this build is more about setting off tech combos and being really tanky so it's a different feel.
Does anyone actually know how much DR tech armor gives you though? I wish the game would just tell you the number, I also wonder if it scales as you rank up the sentinel profile, it would make sense if it did.

Also, the formula is: Damage divided by 1 + (DR/100). So DR 100 would cut your damage precisely in half.
