How does this work Base says 2% so i was thinking 2% for each point Point could mean: 1) Point 2) Level (level 5 costs 5 points but count as 1) But none of these seems to be true
Combat tools lvl 1 gives +2% power damage i spend 1 point in shotguns...still 2% i spend 1 point in pistols...still 2% i spend 1 point in sniper...3% i spend 1 point in assault rifles...3% i spend 1 point in barricade...3% i spend 1 point in grenade...3%

Idk what the point-by-point breakdown is, but I do know that a maxed tree (232 points invested) is 40% (up from 2% with only one point invested). Using OFFENSIVE BIOTICS damage boost in this example.
I'm other words, tree bonuses are based on the entire tree, not individual skills.

that is not useful unfortunately i do my own excel sheets and i need to know the formula
In game numbers are wrong! you see weapon's damage already upgraded by mods and passive bonus (ex: shotguns) but melee damage isn't! also power damage is increased only by bonus give by active ability and not by passive (ex: charge damage is increased if you pick level 3 and level 4a,but not by offensive biotic). Same with recharge speed. Recharge speed has also no decimal so a recharge of 6.6s is showed as 7s
