you lose all sound, period? I lost sound in an MP match, played a couple more matches, decided to go SP and clear out my Apex Strike Teams stuff and had no sound. I thought this was patched? I thought it was ONLY MP, too. Now completely restarting the game...
Sad that people so stupid are actually allowed to write code and not be fired for complete and utter ineptitude. Seriously, I'm glad this is just a game and not some important life critical programs. How do such jack leg, half assed stupid idiots get jobs like this? I know the pay is good, so I thought there was some kind of screening process. Apparently any stupid fuck can get this job, lol.
Hey, EA/BW you should hire me. I can wipe my own ass and actually pee INSIDE the ring. lol That seems to be the minimum requirement at EA to work on a AAA game. I wonder if the minimum requirement is actually lower...

I had sound crashing issues a few times in ME3, too - also had to restart the game completely.
I also got this quite a few times in AMP - seemed to have fixed itself after I recently updated my audio drivers, tho.

I'll see if there is an audio driver update.
I have alot seen a lot of ghosts today. Been worse than usual (maybe just my laggy luck) but there have been a lot of dead enemies standing around awhile and getting in the way long after they are dead.
I hope the patch coming soon* will help these probelms.

I thought this was patched? I thought it was ONLY MP, too. Triggered only in MP (usually in games with a lot of sounds at once for me - another reason to bring a SR over a fast firing auto gun... ) but requires a full restart to fix once it happens. I think it was assumed to be fixed by a lot of people due to vague pre-patch notes talking about audio problems being solved, but it was never specifically mentioned once the patchs came out. This was in 1.04: 'Fixed an issue causing players to stop hearing their character’s audio and start hearing another player’s instead' and 'Fixed a few rare audio issues' Likely the cause of the confusion. Still in the known issues list for now: answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Bugs-Known-issues-list-for-MEA/m-p/5942772Can't be long until the next patch now, so hopefully won't be a problem 'soon'.

I have a son that can and a friends son works on the environments in Overwatch (only person I know of that get paid in the industry). Its not as hard as one might think. I seriously don't know why they seem to have a hard time finding quality programmers when it seems every kid learns it in grade school now. Seriously, almost every place I have worked has their own programmers for various things like parts tracking or maintenance scheduling and tracking and etc. Its not like only one in every million people has the ability to learn programming. Its not like cracking the Omega code or something. lol

Oh, come *on*. I mean, one of the biggest problems in this game is that it's a bit too realistic about how messed up things get in real combat. Throw a little network delay at it and you get an almost genuine "oh man, this is totally ****ed up" combat experience. Not only that, the frostbite engine looks like it could be turned into a decent network diagnostic tool. Pioneering network diagnostic design - I mean, how often do you get to participate in such ground-breaking work?

I have found that in 90% of the games when you lose the sound it means For me thats what it means.... that my game is about to crash...the majority of the time I get kicked back to the xbox dashboard by the start of the next wave after the sound goes out. At least in ME3MP if you lost the sound, 99% of the time you could finish the match.

I don't talk to strangers, so I instantly mute all of them before a match. Better safe than sorry. I must say, however, that playing Gold Kett without sound made the whole experience more intense - the HUD indicates from where you're being shot at, but you really have to be on a constant lookout for Fiends and Ascendants. It actually improved my sniper gameplay, tho, as I now tend to be as mobile as in ME3MP when playing an infiltrator

I also got this quite a few times in AMP - seemed to have fixed itself after I recently updated my audio drivers, tho. I have a BIOSTAR TA970 Ver. 5.3 AM3+ AMD 970 motherboard. I did find there are newer Audio Drivers so I am updating them now. I hope that solves the sound loss issue I am having.

It's such a weird and inconstent bug that for me anyway it can happen three times in two days, and might go two weeks without losing audio after that.
Just as consistent as the RNG-store: One moment it decides to even out all your gear levels, and the next it's decided that character cards are a priority.
