Goddamn, the first boss was hard as hell. Granted, I'm playing on Hardcore, but still.

For those who haven't gotten to the first boss yet, I recommend cloak and assault turret if you haven't unlocked them yet, and don't be afraid to exploit the checkpoint room for some good cover when you need to get a solid defensible position.

Hey guys! Just popping in to say hope you're all enjoying the game

I got it on Friday but have yet to play it. I'm thinking tonight's the night haha. I might play a little bit and then leave in until May. The next month is going to be super stressful irl, and I don't usually like to play games when my mind is occupied with something else. Why waste the experience? Liam's loyalty mission is a riot and it made me appreciate the more free moving combat in a whole new way. It showed that they can get a whole lot more creative with the enviroment and I love that. So looking forward to the other loyalty missions.

I hope there's an in-universe explanation because I had just finished the book before meeting her and it was really jarring.

This historic event of first contact between the the Nexus people led by Pathfinder and the angaran people. The meeting that'll change the odds and course for the war against the kett. This significant event... and the historically accurate holos have to depict Ryder wearing a hoodie and sweat pants next to armored angaran guards and well-dressed diplomats. During the first meeting with the Governor of Aya, the celebrated return of the Moshae, the arrival of the first angaran delegation to the Nexus and other events, Ryder have to be featured as wearing clothes that can be mistaken as pyjamas from a distance or otherwise it's incorrect to history.

That's just so priceless

The same as with every Bioware release: whether ~~blood orange~~ the game is terrible and whether people who like it or hate it are wrong. Give it some time and we'll probably be back to civil conversations about it within the year like with the previous games.

Man, I did not like Kadara but I freely admit that was because the terrain wasn't cooperating with me so I couldn't sneak short cuts like I could on Voeld.

Looks like this is going to be close to a 100 hour playthrough for me. I am just finishing a major story quest on the 1st major planet (not mentioning name to save the experience for those who have not got to this planet, but it is the one where you get Nomad) and I am only at ~11 hours in. Not to mention that I have not attempted any side quest on the planet yet, just the critical plot thus far.

I am really taking my time with this one. Considering that I really only play on Fri-Sun, it may be sometime in May when I finally finish the game.

You only get 1 first playthrough, so why rush it?

I find it interesting that there are probably some people out there who have rushed through the game and already on their second playthrough.
