I continue to be amazed by these environments. The detail, lighting, atmosphere... and the places within places. I've only been to 4 major planets so far and it's just all so stunning. If only the people were as pretty..... It's not the [enemy name redacted]'s fault they're so ugly. :dumb: I don't think anybody looks bad, graphics or otherwise. Besides, not everybody can be as ridiculously good-looking as Dorian.

If anyone is interested, I have a multiplayer booster pack DLC coupon code for European PS4 players. I never play multiplayer, so it's useless to me. The pack contains 5 random items or characters, including at least 1 uncommon with a small chance for a rare.

I'd suggest giving MP a try. I wasn't particularly interested in it, but gave it a try out of curiosity, and now I'm addicted to the point I'm not getting anywhere in the single player...

I haven't been playing as much as I'd like to due to life but I am really enjoying this game. I hate to admit that I'm not blown away by the story and only seem to enjoy a handful of characters, which is odd for me when it comes to Bioware games, but hot dang am I enjoying the exploration and combat! I actually started giggling when I upgraded pull and throw and have been having so much fun with that combination. I've only been to 3 planets so far but I love the environments and just the feeling that I can explore anywhere. I do feel a little overwhelmed at times with this game just because it is massive, I think it took me 1 day to make it through one planet Voeld and there's still side missions opening up on it. I have experienced some annoying bugs here and there, but nothing too bad, I had 2 bugs where I had to reload a previous save because it wasn't recognizing my actions in a vault so some minor annoyances but nothing that breaks the game. I also am really torn on who my Ryder will romance?! I don't think I'll be able to play this game more than once for quite a while so I have to really think this one out. I'm torn between 2, possibly 3 Liam and Jaal are my main interest but Vetra is great too, so torn! but I'm afraid of meeting other possibilities on other planets. Who are your all leaning towards in romances?

I'm avoiding MP until I finish my SP campaign for this exact reason. I sunk so many hours into ME:3 MP but didn't really enjoy the combat in the SP game, I foresee doing the same in Andromeda, so I want to at least finish the main game before I open that Pandora's Box.

Who are your all leaning towards in romances? Same here about the romances. I'm enjoying the game very much, but I don't think I like it enough to play it more than once. I can't choose between the same ones you listed. Vetra hasn't really shown that much of herself so far, though. When she first appeared she was great, but the other two have had more content to flesh them out over time and show different sides of them.
I completed a romance today that's not part of the crew, and that one seems to be short, but it's fun. No idea how much content that one actually has later in the game, if any. I'm too curious about the others to have Sara stay with him for now, so I won't find out unless the others turn out to be less interesting, but he's very cute.
For the others, I'm going to make a save and try each of the romance exclusivity scenes in turn. The one I like best is the one I'll go with until the game ends.

AllyCatAttack I'm still figuring out the available romances myself (so I didn't read your spoiler) since I suspect there are more than I know right now. But I think I've decided on Liam I like the character and the relationship is already progressing nicely, and I think they pair well together. Although I have been flirting with somebody else recently. A little. For fun. I know I'm gonna play again (and I already want to see some other romances) so I might look up who's available after I finish this first playthrough. Though I'm kinda fighting a temptation to start my other Ryder on the side...

I'm torn between 2, possibly 3 Liam and Jaal are my main interest but Vetra is great too, so torn! but I'm afraid of meeting other possibilities on other planets. Who are your all leaning towards in romances? Jaal. Because I like his banter with Ryder and really their whole relationship from the get-go with how it changes over time. Heck, the first line he spoke to Ryder had me intrigued about his character and that only continued.
Ryder: "I apologize. Landing here the way we did, without warning, on fire was not the plan." Jaal: "That's good to know. Because if it was, that would be a very bad plan."
Their introduction to each other also worked well with my Ryder's personality since she was still awkward and unsure around that portion of the story so his first reply made me think their personalities might be complimentary and it turned out that they were including in ways I didn't anticipate until I saw it later on like Jaal's own insecurities as an example. Basically, their differences and similarities.
I also love this line:
Ryder: "Thank you for trusting me." Jaal: "I don't. But I can always kill you in your sleep."
I could go on with all the banter between the two I like. I'm a huge fan of slow burn romances so this romance was perfect for me. I should note that I haven't seen the romance to its conclusion yet because I've been taking my time with every mission and I mean every mission.
I was surprised to find that I considered PB before I met him because I've never been interested in the asari characters but her personality and archaology-related interests won me over. I'll also always be grateful towards her for giving me my baby. The same with Liam which was also surprising because I've never really been interested in the human characters.

How long does the avg MP match last? And what purpose does MP serve for SP? Probably 15-20 minutes on average. Nothing significant as far as I can tell. There's some integration with the "strike teams" (DA:I war table basically), but it seems to be mainly that they give you some MP currency. You might also get some resources for SP if you do the strike team missions manually as a MP game, but I'm not certain. Of course, I'm not far enough into the game to confirm there's no MP requirements for certain endings this time round, but I hope BW have learned their lesson. I'd suggest giving MP a try. I wasn't particularly interested in it, but gave it a try out of curiosity, and now I'm addicted to the point I'm not getting anywhere in the single player... Yeah, I've noticed that people are enjoying multiplayer. What makes it so addictive for you? The biggest thing is that I'm really enjoying the combat mechanics of ME:A, and multiplayer focuses on them more than the SP. The extra mobility of the jetpack and dodges significantly improve it over ME3 (which I didn't think was anything special gameplay wise) for me. Especially as a vanguard (which is definitely one of the strongest MP classes at the present). Teleporting around punching everything to death is a hell of a rush, particularly on the higher difficulties where screwing up can leave you rather dead. Plus the progression seems to be reasonably well done - I'm unlocking plenty of stuff which hits those bits of your brain that get you addicted, but there's still a hell of a lot more to get.

Who are your all leaning towards in romances? Wanted to romance Vetra with Scott but apparently that's not an option. No one else is appealing so I think he's gonna stay single.
When I get around to picking up Sara's game, I'm leaning toward
Jaal, because he's the only new alien on board. And purple. And a cat. Though a fling with Reyes might be fun too.

Were you able to flirt with her? If you could, then don't worry, it just takes a while to see more of her. Hope I didn't say too much.

After some expermenting, I think I've found my preferred combination of abilities. I ran with Annihilation Field, tech construct and Backlash which worked great but I wanted to go back to being more mobile and actively participating in the firefight so decided to switch Annihilation Field out with Singularity. When fully upgraded a certain way, the singularity can be manually detonated to create an explosion. This works well as a versatile biotic power because it's a homing attack that can lift opponents and cause massive damage on que. It also has a short recharge. I've found that if I target an enemy drop-point, I can pretty much end an entire wave right there same as in the OT.
Funny thing was that I started out with singularity as my first ability but cycled away from it. Huh, guess things really did come full circle.
I really like the combat system in this game including the new mobility. It adds some interesting alternatives to staying in cover. I like being able to quickly dash from cover, hover to snipe enemies from their cover and change my position quickly as they destroy my hiding place. I like that enemies can do the same. I hope this continues with the next game although I would like to regain control of my squadmates' abilities.

For my male Ryder I'm definitely gonna romance: Gil. (Assuming he is a romance.) I for serious love that sardonic joker and knew he'd be perfect for my (imaginary) RyBro almost instantly. Also, about a potential femRyder LI because I'm curious but don't want to check: Reyes? He's a thing, right? Because he seems like a legit one so that would be a massive tease if he isn't. Does anybody know? And is he gender-locked? I mean, it's not like I might've accidentally flirted with him too much or anything. And then felt guilty about it.I should probably just look this stuff up so I can stop puzzling. I've already chosen my first romance anyway.

Here's a general question relating to Ryder as the protagonist -- in a spoiler tag because, uh... Well, no plot details or anything, just to be safe for those that don't know. Totally safe for those that have started playing: Has anyone thought about playing their sibling, like in an alternate-reality type thing? I have this whole headcanon around Ryder and her twin right now, and I've been thinking more about playing "Scott" as if he had become Pathfinder instead of my current Ryder. It's becoming too appealing. :heh: I'll have to think about the sister of my imaginary RyBro too, I suppose.

A small tip: if the game starts acting sluggish or begins to lag when it didn't before, it may be a good idea to delete or transfer some saves from the save folder.
I've found this issue shows up once in a while because I'm a constant saver so I move a good chunk of my saves to a back-up folder which does the trick.
