Hey off current topic, but I was just watching my brother in law play MEA and overheard a conversation where Sara is talking to Lexi via comms on Aya about having gotten Paripo the fruit at the vendor in Aya seels.
I have always wondered what she was all about and never got any quests re getting Paripo, did anyone else? The only difference is he's playing on Xbox and I am on PC.

Yeah its bizarre because my brother in-law said that she just offered to give him some and then I heard the dialogue between Sara and Lexi. I have only ever gotten an explanation of the fruit from her in 9 play through's???

You have to scan 3 fruits on Aya (do this before Liam's scanning thing pops up or after you've done it already). You won't get anything in the journal until you scan the first fruit, and I don't think the scanner beeps at you until you've already got one. So, scan 3 fruits, Lexi will pop up over the comm asking you to get some samples. Talk to the merchant who sells fruit and she'll eventually give you a sample. Then, go talk to the bartender at the Tavetaan about nutrient paste (you can swap order of these convos as well). Eventually, Lexi will tell you all the food is compatible with MWers - besides her analysis, she also says that Liam ate some and didn't die. Which is weird since Liam is at the market with you.

No, nothing like that. It's just awkward trying to scan for fruits when as soon as you pull out the scanner you get tagged with, "Nuh uh, not this time." So, I either do it well before talking to Liam or after it's already done and we've moved on.

The fruit to scan isn't in the market. One is near resistance HQ, one is in the memorial garden and the third is along one of the walkways. Once you scan the first one, the scanner should then beep when you're near the other two. Just point your scanner at anything that looks like a fruit on one of the plants around the place.

Have you scanned the galley cupboard to see what you have in stock? The contents will change mid-way through the game. It will change again late in the game to:

I don't have a favorite. Just Interesting. Sarissa, The Salarian Leaders killing their own to get info, the Doctor who helped people in the slums.

I don't kill the pjyaks in ME1 since they're just doing their thing on their own. I do help out Ratch in ME2 since the vermin are eating the krogans' food (and so I get a discount. )
I also punch the pyjak in the infirmary.
Pet pyjak in MEA is adorable, even if nameless, especially since he only pees on Liam's armor, not Ryder's.

As ew got a couple of extra casual outfits and an extra set of weapons as well. Although the weapons do becoimme a little redundant after you get half way through the game. But the casual outfits are nice once you've got them looking right for your Ryder.
