Same, I prefer to be wowed by the interior of the Tempest when I first play the game, and to explore it then. The briefing played in the background with the sound off while I was doing something else, because I still want the goodies.  How does these briefings work anyways? Are they interactive videos or just normal videos that you can just watch on YouTube?
I don't know if they get uploaded to YouTube. They might unofficially by fans. I do know that for the second briefing, I was unable to access all of the pop ups (for additional info) without being logged in. The briefing still played though.

Actually, I think the videos in the training hub are Youtube videos. At the beginning of each and if you pause, you can see a Youtube logo at the bottom right corner.

I promised myself that I would go dark after the release date was announced, now the long struggle begins. Like a lot of other people in this thread, I was spoiled on Solas and Blackwall, which really upset me, especially Solas since he was my inquisitor's romance during my first play through.
I have watched the briefings, the N7 Day and the gameplay trailer but have been avoiding a lot of other videos that have been released. I don't consider the briefings to be too much of a spoiler since it mainly has been steering away (so far) from main plot points and characters, which is what I want to avoid. I will say the briefings are really getting me hyped for the game! I miss playing Mass Effect and just seeing some images of the ship during the latest briefing made me happy.
Thank you to those who are brave enough to watch some of the videos released and report back here, it's much appreciated!

I got to the Bioware party reaaalllyyy late, so this is actually my first ever pre-launch experience, I don't quite know how to behave I played the Mass Effect games later on too and finished my first play through of ME2 about 1 month before ME3 released, so I didn't get to fully experience the community reactions and excitement leading up to release. So part of me wants to be involved in the main Andromeda forums, but I'm fearful of possible spoilers. I was really enjoying the Andromenerds podcast as well, but plan on taking a break from them until after I finish the game. I can't believe that it's going to release in March though, it's so close, yet feels so far away! |

Some character name leaks happened because they were used on pending Funko Pop figures.
Expect more leaks as promotional items / toys / books work their way through distribution channels ahead of launch.

I'm still pretty much going dark. Any Dr. Pepper codes or GameStop exclusives I should know about if I want maximum pre-order bonus stuff? I haven't seen any pre-order content that was exclusive to Gamestop. The bonus for pre-ordering seems to be the same whether you pre-order on Origin or at Gamestop.

There might be something included with the Collector's Edition of the Prima game guide, but they are being vague about what the extra is.  I know for DAI, the Prima guide came with a promo code for a mount and an amulet to use in-game. |

I think I'm going to hold off preordering until we reach March: I am going to preorder regardless but I just want to wait to see if there'll be any news about a deluxe upgrade for physical copies at launch. Also, if another discount pops up. Hopefully I won't miss it this time.

Has there been any news about Xbox One getting early access for the game? I plan on getting it for PS4, but was just curious if I should be on alert a few days prior to March 21st for any possible spoilers from any friends (or so called friends, who seem to not understand how spoilers work) who will be playing on Xbox. I know Michael Gamble has confirmed that it'll be avaliable for Origin Access and Mass Effect has confirmed Xbox's EA Access if I understand correctly: It is for a limited time but no date that I know of has been given for when the early access begin and when it ends. If a demo is not avaliable, it might be a good oppertunity for those that have access and are on the fence about buying the game. An EA Access membership is $5 a month.
Note: I did not tag the tweet because it didn't seem to contain spoilers. I will, of course, tag it if others disagree. |

Welcome to the bioware fanbase With the old forums gone, it's important that we keep the old traditions alive! But I am curious to see how the forums will be after the release of Andromeda: in my experiences, the forum for the game in question tend to be divided and very... discontented before calming down after a while and allowing for more nuanced and pleasent discussions about the merits and flaws of the game. Today, we can even discuss the endings to Mass Effect 3 without, for the most part, resorting to sailor talk for the lack of a better expression. The same goes for Dragon Age: Inquisition. I imaging that the forums for Mass Effect: Andromeda might see revival of that particular Bioware forum tradition. If it is as bad as Inquisition then I might step outside until it's back to normal. I have many fond of memories of the forums, this one and the old, but I don't recall many enjoyable moments in the early time following release. I would like to say to our dear mods that you have my sympathy for the days to come following Mass Effect: Andromeda's release. Remember, it'll get better. Also, a sincere thank you for your work |

Trust me on this, it can be quite frustrating (from my DAI experience). Because the clock is ticking you may feel pressured in the character creator and pressured to press ahead. I burned through my DAI allocation in a day, then was locked out for a further 6 days  . When I started again properly I restarted the game as well. |
