I'm assuming there'd be more than one option so it's not like you'd be forced to pick it. Mass Effect is also no stranger to odd armor: the Collector armor was made of organic material that was self-healing and seemed implied to be made out of Collector skin. Also, also, given the likelihood of boob cups (which would be a nonsensical design choice especially in-universe), I'd say respectably shaped armor is not in the cards.

I think that might be a part of her recruitment mission given that it seems hinted that she might have been at the vault for a while. I believe she says something along the lines of, "Wauw, I was really only scratching the surface", in the 4k Tech live footage which I took to mean she'd been something like exploring it and trying to figure it out.

I could see it being her casual clothes and if not then I hope we have access to alternative outfits from the get-go. I like variety and if we're on a cold or toxic planet then I'd like to see her dressed for the enviroment.
