The graphics look good. Too bad the ME trilogy can't look like that. Wait a minute. They can. Just remake the trilogy. excellent Anyways. I see the raccoon was shown. If we're military, I like to have Male Ryder get a haircut. Needs to have that hair off the ears. Need it high and tight Unless they make a third party company do it that seems unlikely, between New IP, MEA and SWTOR Bioware has their hands full. Have a second team do it. EA brings in another team to do it. Once done, that team can continue making ME in the Milky Way while the current keeps making ME in Andromeda

Looks pretty, and I actually did get some of that ME1 feeling of exploring a completely new galaxy with strange new things you've never seen before. While it can sort of be boring in a gameplay presentation, I really did like how most of it was just exploring this strange place without even a hint of combat until the very end just before it ended. I hope that Ryder actually comes from a civilian background and that there might even be some non-combat/peaceful solutions to quests should you choose to pursue that course of action. I hope so. Some of my favorite moments in the franchise are the times I can end things with words(like the peace between Geth and Quarians) or at least use non-lethal means(like the gas grenades on Feros)

I don't own or plan to buy a 4K TV and/or PS4 Neo (or PS4 Pro or whatever Sony is calling it) in the near future but it's still damn impressive.

What are the initials on Ryder's back?
On an unrelated note I'm glad I decided to go to the gym rather than watch the conference. Seemed like a whole lot of nothing.

How is it incredible? And how does it sound That mine or any other post criticizing this choice mean the game is ruined? It's just criticism of something People didn't like before (ME2-ME3) And don't like now. Do you enjoy games only if you don't find things you dislike? Because it's years that i've read anything close to a positive spin in a bioware discussion all i can remember right now are years full of spite, venom and hate all born from comment like yours. People don't like something (which is fine) and than pass the months after building up all the hate they can for making the devs notice that they didn't like it (which is insane) and come the next game the cycle start again . And what you obtain ? Bioware close up their official forum because they gave up to the community because people weren't able to manage a negative feedback outside of a pitch and fork situation I think you are overreacting. Bioware didn't close their official forums because of people were critical or dissapointed. They closed them because forums were massive, it required a lot of mods to control it and they were doing for free until they give up because that consumes plenty of time. That's why all trolls were able to enter and fill the forums with shit posting and shit threads with no point. Hanako and Elder King have the right to feel disappointed and express it if they want. You have the right to express your enthusiasm as well. But don't make it so personal.

Bioware close up their official forum because they gave up to the community because people weren't able to manage a negative feedback outside of a pitch and fork situation I generally try to discuss the things I want to like in a civilized manner. Not once I insulted Bioware or their devs for features or things I disliked. I just express an opinion and debate with others, without going too far. You can check the thread on MEA boards on prime BSN about realistic armour, for example. The fact that some People took things too far is no reason why I can't express criticism of something I don't like. I think That as long as a discussion remains civil, negative feedback can be discussed, and I always mantained this policy. Not mention I wasn't even here in the most heated moments in The forum (like after ME3) so I don't see why I should be considered among The responsible for what happened to BSN. Seriously, I don't understand how any of my posts went too far in criticizing one particular thing I dislike, or that might lead to something else. All I said is That it's not my favorite thing, and That of we have multiple options I'll be fine with her having That outfit in a quest where I can't pick a different outfit.

1) how the fuck they know it was full of danger? 2) which kind of climate this world has? In the e3 video we seen the mako running in a desert so no surprise if the guy who explored that planet dressed lightly 1. Umm, did you miss the part with the aliens who are known to attack you? That outfit is not combat-rated. And it's a much better idea to prepare for a negative situation than to be unprepared for it. Obviously... 2. The suits are climate controlled, so the weather isn't a factor. No excuse for less protection there.. 1)why you assume that prior to the landing to that planet they knew that they will be attacked? 2)because they are bulky, cubersome and not needed for the task at hand and maybe and better employed elsewhere and not on a mission where they are superflous?

Graphics - good. Never had doubts on that part. Animations - walking is a bit clumsy, but such things never bothered me anyway. Everyone in armor, Racoon Asari with naked belly button - good old Bioware. MRyder VA - nice, somehow sounds older than Shepard's. Default human male and female squadies - standart. For some reason BW decided to hide guys' and Cora's faces for now. I just hope BW won't go full "alternative beaty" on her face to compensate for dat shape.

I agree, I want to know who voices both. I have a bad feelings about female Ryder, unfortunately, but we'll see. Were you the one who worried it was going to be the woman who voiced Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider reboot? I believe the name mentioned was Camilla Luddington. No, that wasn't me. I'm just worried about what she'll sound like based off the E3 "trailer", but I really need to hear more before having a solid opinion. She just sounded a bit squeal-y. But she was quite emotional at the time. I've just grown fond of Jennifer Hale, Sumalee Montano, and Courtenay Taylor's lower, more commanding voices. I'd like to bring this up again. Apparently we are gonna be able to equip many more weapons, probably the same amount as in ME1 All the spots I marked are confirmed by either this or other trailers to be valid weapon holsters/slots. That gives us 5 possible weapons at once. Here he's carrying 2 unknown weapons. The pistol/SMG thing on the left, and then that AR/SR something on the back. Soldiers could carry 4 weapons in ME2 and 5 again in ME3. So it's not definitive. I was disappointed by the fact that they just showed a walking simulator sequence, but then i remembered that we weren't supposed to see anything until N7 day The game looks pretty! It's silly. The game has been in development for years! It's been more than 4 and a half years since ME3, which is in itself longer than we waited between ME1 and ME3! We should have seen more by now. A lot more. I feel I should note that there were an option in Mass Effect 3 to remove the player character's helmet in cutscenes but keep the squadmates' helmets on. These options are likely present in this game as well which would explain why Ryder's helmet is removed in the cutscene but the squadmates still have theirs on. This was probably to show off Ryder's face. I really hope we get the option to select which specific companions get helmets disabled in cutscenes etc. That really irked me in DA:I since many didn't cover faces, but you had to blanket them on or off. Getting cautiously optimistic. However "boring" part of the gameplay that was, I still dig it. Love the asari companion. Her voice and facial expressions are great. The environment looks great too. I had to rewatch the vid since the first time my attention was hijacked by the dangling bits on Ryder's ass. Why do we need straps there? That was my first thought in the entire video The straps look out-of-place and seem fairly pointless with all of the magnetically-held weapons etc. Just seems odd

Soldiers in real life don't know if they will be attacked on their patrol, and many times are not, yet they still wear combat attire. 2) The humans in that video were wearing fully sealed suits to protect themselves and those were light and pretty much skintight, not bulky and cumbersome.

More "wonder" and "awe" with an atmosphere that kind of reminded me of Ilos (yeah not quite the same)...

That gameplay sequence showed more than I was expecting. I'm wondering if the two helmeted companions were actually placeholders so as to hide the new companions, or simply to disguise a bad hair day in Andromeda? The asari looks fantastic though and I'm hoping that her reaching for a gun is maybe indicative of a more mercenary type character. I'm ready Bioware. I'm looking forward to the trailer come N7 day and keeping fingers crossed for no necessary delays.

As others mentioned, I think they only did that to show the male Ryder face since they showed the female Ryder face at E3. The companions were still wearing their helmets in that cutscene. But yeah, I hated how Inquisition removed the helmets or headwear.

This is fantastic! Woke up about twenty minutes ago, and this is an excellent way to start my day. That scan feature is neat, and I like the way the squad even in this small snippet do appear very young and fresh to this, don't they? There's a casual vibe about that encounter despite the likely impact of it, until the explosion-thing of course. All in all, great news and I look forward to checking in to BSN in a few hours to see where we're at with it!
