Unplayable garbage

Sniping is pretty awful in this game, set aside the lag and off host head shot thing and the game is still built to screw snipers. I don;t see many in games and although the really good player can pull it off most can't due to the enemy spawns and constant harassment not to mention team mates such as my ponytail that spams singularity.

I have not reached a challenge for even one sniper rifle so far.

Knew this was gonna be the case when they removed the two best things about ME3MP (soup rats and claymoar), so didn't bother.

Then I tried to play it at a friend's house. Made it through like a round and a half of salarian whining, laggy Widow reload abortions and dusted headshots, only to get grabbed through the floor by a fiend and ragequit.

Not even based quarian Xen herself could salvage something useful from this shitpile. Glad I'm trapped in darkspace.

No noticable lag in Europe. Can't speak for other regions, of course.
ME3MP lagged way more for me back in the day than MEA does today. Maybe the guys hosting over wireless connection while simultaniously watching Netflix series are just gone now.

Worse than ME3? You still can't (after all these years) play an entire class of characters known as Vangaurds if you're not hosting on ME3. The list is gonna get long. So, we'll leave it there.


Here are some tips for a better online experience
- Pay more for quality internet (something better than McDonald's internet). Get Google Fiber!
- Get a damn ethernet cable. Just say NO to Wireless.
- Don't download a buncha adult videos when you're gaming, you horny devil, you.
- Move out of Australia, Papa New Guinea, Tahiti or some other place in the ass end of the world.

No 'you' still can't play vanguards.    I used to drellguard offhost with massive success on Gold.

This is an old thread and I haven't played since July, but all the way to the end I thought that MEA was much worse than ME3.  Rubberbanding only happened to me in at most 10 games of my 4432 played -- mostly off host.  In MEA I'd say it was at least a third of my off host games.   And on top of that MEA had headshot issues, reload issues, hitscan failures like nothing I had to deal with in ME3.

If you're still playing then I wish you good lucks, but I am so happy I've dumped this steaming pile.

Some vanguards are actually quite playable IMHO, not on Rio though, provided that the lag is reasonable. And they might require cyclonics but generally better with power amp + grenade capacity. Kroguard, Phoenix, Slayer, Assguard to name a few. Drellgod is picky, sometimes it just does not work. I could never use Batguard, human, Volus or Cabal off host even with relatively small lag. But that is mostly due to my stupid playstyle. I've seen plenty of people who do just fine with these. So, IDK what you are talking about.

One Word. Kroguard (ME3MPversion)

From what I can tell, people just don't have a good connection to each other in non american countries, or the game doesn't work for them. I have some laggy games, but generally they are the best experience. I also play mainly off host with other American players.

This is also the reason I believe people think there is such a big headshot issue when in reality its not bad. Most games I play I get my headshots, but the games with even a little noticeable skip my headshot rate drops even though I play the same all the time.

And I played ME3 on Xbox for about a year, was in the top 50 players before I left. ME3 was complete trash when it was first released, and vanguard issue was more mitigated than corrected. Comparing MEA to ME3, as much shyt is in MEA, I say I'd still take it. ME3 was very stiff compared to MEA. More complex and less casual, but more intolerable by a longshot. No way in hell I could pug in ME3, while I 99% pug in MEA.

People that think ME3 is all grand and special literally have adapted to the complete and utter donkey shyt in the game to where they can't tell the difference between quality performance and frisby CD.
