Unplayable garbage

Things like this make me wonder how many inches i would deepthroat to get an Inferno in MP

They turn it into a party game. Take a drink every time somebody is salty about the product.

There will be a lot of alcohol poisoning the next day.

Gotta say if I was a dev lurking in this forum, don't think I would click on a post titled unplayable garbage.

I am guessing that the programmers shrug and say something along the lines of," Go to programming school and see if you can do better". Whereas the board members of EA laugh and say,"Lol, who cares you'll still play the game".

I didn't post it for the devs elucidation. That's what the official forums are for. I was venting.

I had just had about six aborted attempts to give my turian soldier some levels. Four times I rage quit around wave three as the rubberbanding got progressively worse. Seems like it got critical when a fourth pug joined the games. One time the game just froze. Another time, when I tried to host, I got a CTD. Somewhere in there we had a wave four bleed out. When all was said and done my turian had achieved level 3.

Not usually that bad, but damn that was killing me.

That is actually interesting. I had no idea these were generated either, since there's nothing in event viewer after the game crashes. Now I wonder if the game telemetry actually forwards these dump files, otherwise it might be worth creating some EA Answers tickets with them attached.

I've put in a lot more than a thousand hours in ME3 and I'm telling you the consequences of lag are much worse in MEA. I think it's because of the auto cover feature interfering with every other action. And a few people have mentioned that Bioware had transfered things like hits and misses from the clients to the host, which overburdens the host.


Or maybe I just forgot what ME3 matches were like. Tool.

I have some ticket that I periodically bump whenever I get new dump files. I even made a concession with myself and went for a chat although it is time-consuming. They don't even talk and I strongly suspect that the tickets are just written off right away whenever Meda is mentioned. You get a 15% discount code for Origin and an email about clearing your Origin cache and other usual things. They will then close the ticket right away. IMHO, there are probably many-many thousands of these tickets and nobody cares what's inside.

It's cool. No one ever wants to remember the problems of ME3MP launch, or any game they loved for that matter.

MEAMP isn't perfect, it needs some work but the vast majority of matches in MEAMP are at least acceptable. Once in a while you just get a bad host. Make note and move on.

Multiplayer games have always been this way and always will. Most have a server browser with a ping or connection indicator. If you look through the browser, you'll see some good connections and bad connections. If you connected blindly to a server or host in any of those games, chances are, you'll eventually get a bad connection. Without knowing your ping you can't just blame the game.

Unless someone can give me a good reason not to have a ping or connection indicator, I would like to see one added to MEAMP.
